      Receptive Abraão village and hike to Lopes Mendes beach. Arriving from Rio de Janeiro to Vila do Abraão, Ilha Grande’s main village, you will leave backpacks in the Lodge and hike the trail to one of the most beautiful beaches in Ilha Grande, Lopes Mendes. After visiting Lopes Mendes and Santo Antônio beaches, you will take a boat transfer back to Abraão village. Hiking time: 4 to 5h Meals included: Dinner

      From Abraão village to Saco do Céu cove. Time to start the journey around the island. You will hike from Abraão village to a comunity around the Saco do Céu cove, place known as Enseada das Estrelas for its reflection of the starts at night, forming a sky mirror. Hiking time 3 to 4h Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner

      From Saco do Céu cove to Bananal village. Moving on you will reach the Bananal village and overnight on the community. Hiking time: 4 to 5h Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner

      From Araçatiba village to Provetá village. This day will reserve us a visit in the village of Provetá, where a remote evangelical community is located and lives in harmony with nature, almost isolated from the events in the continent. Hiking time: 3 to 4h Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner

      From Provetá village to Aventureiro village. Our destination is Aventureiro beach, one of the most beautiful and famous beaches of Brazil. Hiking time: 3 to 4h Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner

      From Aventureiro village to Parnaioca beach. The sector between these two beaches preserves the largest biological reserve of Ilha Grande, the Praia do Sul Biological Reserve. An extremely protected area, which conserves a very inhospitable and untouched biome. Entry into this section is only allowed with the permission of the environmental agencies. The South and East Beach form the largest section of white sand on the Island. We will arrive at Parnaioca, another strong competitor among the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. We will take some trails and explore Parnaioca Beach and its beauties and take a rest in the very roustic village. Hiking time: 3 to 4h (Boat transfer + Parnaioca local hikes) Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner

      From Parnaioca beach to Abraão main village. On this last day we will return to Abraão village, but not before visiting the beach and the ruins of the former maximum security prison that existed in the village of Dois Rios, which today is administered by the State University of Rio de Janeiro forming a campus of environmental and sea studies. Hiking time: 6 to 8h (~17 km) Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner

      From Abraão main village to Pico do Papagaio peak (Optional activity). The ascent to Ilha Grande’s Pico do Papagaio peak is an optional activity for adventurers who want to enjoy another day of expedition and discover one of the most beautiful views of Ilha Grande. With its 982 m altitude the Pico do Papagaio has panoramic views of Ilha Grande, Angra dos Reis and even Rio de Janeiro with clear sky it’s possible to see the Pedra da Gávea mountain. Hiking time: 5 to 8h (~11 km) Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner
