      Today you will land at Keflavรญk Airport and take the Flybus to your hotel in the Reykjavรญk area. Look forward to the lively and modern capital of Iceland. Optionally, enjoy your dinner at a surrounding restaurant. 1 night in the Reykjavรญk area.

      Day 2: First Impression Of Iceland

      You will meet your tour guide in the morning and then begin your Icelandic adventure with a short city tour of Reykjavรญk. You will then be given a guided tour of a geothermal greenhouse before visiting the Gullfoss waterfall, the active Stokkur geyser and รžingvellir National Park. If the weather is good, you can take a long walk here. These three natural wonders form the so-called "Golden Circle" (UNESCO World Heritage Site). 1 night in the Borgarfjรถrรฐur region. (F)

      After a good nightโ€™s sleep and a hearty breakfast, you will explore the Borgarfjรถrรฐur region in detail today. First on the agenda are a typical Icelandic farm and the picturesque Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls. Your next destinations are the Deildartunguhver hot springs and the Grรกbrรณk crater. After this eventful day, your journey continues north, where you will spend the night in the Laugarbakki area. (F)

      Day 4: Visit Lรฝtingsstaรฐir Stud Farm

      Today you will visit the Icelandic horse stud farm Lรฝtingsstaรฐir. German expatriate Evelyn will show you around the farm and tell you about the history of the Icelandic horse and her passion project "Horses & Heritage" over coffee and cake. Your drive along the scenic Ring Road shows you Icelandโ€™s untouched nature and takes you further north until you reach the region around Akureyri, the countryโ€™s second largest city. There you will visit the Kaldi microbrewery in Hauganes and taste the special beer. 2 nights in the Akureyri area. (F)

      Day 5: Thundering Waterfalls And Geothermal Activity

      To start the day, visit the open-air museum at the historic Grenjaรฐarstaรฐur peat farm and then head to the Gรณรฐafoss waterfall. Your next destination is the area around Lake Mรฝvatn, where there is plenty to discover. You will go on a short hike through the Dimmuborgir rock labyrinth, which is adorned with impressive lava formations. You will also explore the high temperature area of Nรกmaskarรฐ and observe the rising steam from numerous mud pots. You have the optional opportunity to unwind in the relaxing thermal waters of the Jarรฐbรถรฐin natural baths (optional, โ‚ฌ55 per person, payable locally, please book when booking). (F)

      Day 6: From Lake Mรฝvatn To The Untouched East

      The day begins with a special experience: the most powerful waterfall in Europe, Dettifoss, offers you a fantastic panorama. Your route then takes you further into the untouched east of Iceland. In between, you will take an old route off the ring road to experience the solitude of the Icelandic highlands of Mรถรฐrudalsheiรฐi. Make a stop at the "Fjallakaffi" and enjoy typical Icelandic pastries and coffee. Your dayโ€™s stage ends in the East Fjords region, where you check into your comfortable hotel for the next night.       In the morning, you will visit the famous Stone Museum, one of the largest of its kind in the world. Then the journey continues along the picturesque East Fjords into the area of the mighty Vatnajรถkull glacier to the famous Jรถkulsรกrlรณn glacier lagoon with its impressive ice floes. On the way, you will stop briefly in the small town of Djรบpivogur. If you wish, you can take part in a boat trip on the glacier lagoon (optional, โ‚ฌ55 per person, payable locally, please book when registering). In the evening, dinner awaits you in a restaurant near your hotel. 1 night in the Hรถfn area. (F/A)

      e Today you head south through the Eldhraun lava field. You will visit Vรญk, the southernmost town in Iceland, and the coastal area of Reynisfjara. Other destinations on the agenda for the day include the famous Skรณgafoss waterfall and the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, which plunges 66 meters into the depths. You can even admire it from behind as you walk beneath it. Continue towards the capital Reykjavรญk. 2 nights in the Reykjavรญk area. (F)

  • Day 9 Day 9: Individual Through Reykjavรญk

      Day 9: Individual Through Reykjavรญk

      Today you can spend your last day exploring the capital on your own. We recommend the Sky Lagoon as an option. The lagoon is the new highlight in Iceland, located directly at the harbor of Krasnes, near Reykjavรญk. Relax with a fantastic view in the 75 m wide warm water pool, which seems to flow into the cold Atlantic Ocean (optional, 79 โ‚ฌ p.p., payable on site, please book when booking. The "Pure Pass" is included. The transfer by cab is on your own). Alternatively, you can take part in a whale watching tour from Reykjavรญk. Here you can observe the impressive sea giants in their natural environment and at close range (optional, โ‚ฌ 115 p.p., payable locally, please book when registering). (F)
