Day 1 Day 1: Puerto Maldonado, Peru

Day 1: Puerto Maldonado, Peru

Botanical Walk, Sunset Point Tower and Nocturnal Walk (L/D)
Start your jungle adventure with a Puerto Maldonado airport/bus station pick-up, and then enjoy a scenic drive to the lodge station where you’ll be staying for the next few days.
After check-in, take a delicious creole lunch (vegetarian options and / or diets, prior notice). Then, take a botanical walk through the Ecoaventuras Amazonicas trails to explore the ecosystem, where you will be explaining about the flora and medicinal plants used in the Amazon. Continue with the trail which will lead us to the Sunset Point Tower of the forest (canopy) of 30 meters high, enjoy a spectacular view of the sub-canopy and its surroundings. Wait for the beautiful sunset at the top of the forest, excellent to appreciate the sounds of nature, and to be in contact with it.
As the sun goes down, the jungle becomes much more mysterious, it is time for the nocturnal walk, where you will see a lot of animals: nocturnal birds like towaio and owls or the nocturnal monkey, locally known as musmuqui and insects that will surprise you just by seeing them and much more with hearing them. Return to the lodge to take a shower and so you can taste your delicious dinner before overnighting in your bungalows.
Day 2 Day 2: Puerto Maldonado, Peru

Visit to the Sandoval Lake (B/L/D)
After your early breakfast, we will stop at the main port in Puerto Maldonado to take our motorized boat in the Madre de Dios River downstream. Enjoy your day visiting the famous Sandoval Lake, located in the Tambopata Reserve. You will have the opportunity to observe different animals as giant otters, as well as the only ruminant bird in the world, the Hoatzin locally known as Shansho, Anhinga or Duck Snake. You will also be able to spot some species of monkeys such as Howler, Capuchin, Squirrel Monkey, Tamarin. Then we will enjoy an Amazonian lunch on the banks of the majestic Lake. After this little rest, let´s take off in some rowboats. You will have the chance to row in this endless and mysterious tropical jungle. Return on time to taste our delicious dinner in our eco-house.
Day 3 Day 3: Puerto Maldonado, Peru

Visit to "La Cachuela", go fishing in the Madre de Dios river and try the Adventure Circuit (B/L/D)
Today you will start your day early with a wake-up call at 4.15 am and we will visit the amazing parrot clay lick “La Cachuela”, which approximatively lasts 2 hours. It is the perfect place for lovers of parrots, hundreds of them will make their arrival in the early morning to congregate and try to eat the clay which is used by the minerals to detoxify some immature fruit or seed as well as to socialize and search for your partner. It is possible to see up to 7 species of Psithecidae (family of parrots and macaws) in this magical activity. Continue your day fishing in the Madre de Dios River, which is a main activity of the Amazonian population. You can see along the River many people fishing either hand-crafted or with fishnets (Option to visit a local family). Take lunch before you start the Adventure Circuit, this circuit is very challenging, the difficulties range from level 1 to level 4 of difficulty, strive and you will see that in the end when you won the 4 obstacles will make you feel very fulfilled and you will want to have many more challenges. Go back to your accommodation and enjoy a tasty dinner. Then enjoy the bonfires and let´s have a good time to talk and tell some anecdotes and legends about our Amazon. You will lodge in bungalows.

Zip-Line and Canopy Day (B)
Start your last day feeling like a raptor descending in search of their prey un our Zip-Line activity, this is great to fight against the stress. After this, you will try our Suspension bridge,101 meters of walk to the height of the highest trees of the Amazon, it is possible to observe many species of living beings like frogs, canopy birds like the toucan, lizards like geckos, which walking on the base of the trees you would never have the opportunity to see them or hear them without this type of construction, you will have a different experience. Go back to your accommodation and enjoy your last breakfast before your return to the airport in time to take our flight back to Lima or Cusco
