Stop At: Pashupatinath Temple, 44621 Pashupati Nath Road, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Pashupatinath temple is a highly revered temple of Kathmandu valley. There are a lot of places to see around Pashupatinath temple. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple offers wonderful spiritual experiences and surroundings. It is situated 3 km northwest of Kathmandu on the banks of the Bagmati River, including many holy areas Deupatan, Jaya Bageshwori, Gaurighat (Holy Bath), Kutumbahal, Gaushala, Pingalasthan and Sleshmantak forest. There are around 492 temples, 15 Shivalayas (shrines of Lord Shiva) and 12 Jyotirlinga (phallic shrines) to explore.
It is also a cremation site on the raised platform along the Bagmati River, where the last rites of Hindus are performed. The total time for Sightseeing around the Pashupatinath temple will be about two hours.

Dhulikhel is one of the more popular places from which to observe the high Himalaya. From the edge of the ridge, a stunning panorama of peaks unfolds, from Langtang Lirung (7227m) in the west, through Dorje Lakpa (6966m) to the huge bulk of Gauri Shankar (7134m) and nearby Melungtse (7181m), and as far as Numbur (5945m) in the east. The most common itinerary is two nights with a side trip to the sacred stupa at Namobuddha, a 12km drive or three-hour walk south.Unlike that other popular viewpoint, Dhulikhel is also a real Newari town, with a temple-lined village square and a life outside of tourism.

A tiered pagoda basking in Himalayan views, the mountaintop Manakamana Temple dates back to the 17th century, but was heavily damaged by the 2015 earthquake. Despite the scaffolding, pilgrims still come here in droves. Visitors often sacrifice a goat or chicken in a gory pavilion behind the temple โ goats even get a discounted one-way ticket up on the cable car! This makes for quite a mess on feast days. But don't worry, there is no tradition of sacrificing foreign tourists.

Day 5: Pokhara Full Day Sightseeing
Stop At: World Peace Pagoda, Pamdi Bhambadi G.V, Pokhara 33700, Nepal
Pokhara Shanti Stupa or World Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist pagoda-style monument on Anadu Hill of the former Pumdi Bhumdi Village Development Committee, in the district of Kaski, Nepal. Standing on top of the Anadu Hill, Shanti Stupa provides a panoramic view of the Annapurna range, Pokhara city and Fewa Lake. It is a perfect holiday place providing a clear view of the Himalayan range, Fewa Lake and Pokhara city. The hilltop provides a splendid view of sunrise and sunset. The pagoda is 7 kilometers from Mahendrapool, the major business spot in Pokhara.

Stop At: Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Pokhara 33700, Nepal
The cave is said to be have been discovered in the 16th century. The main cave entrance was not constructed until 1991. The main cave contains two chambers with several shrines located throughout. The largest of these shrines is dedicated to Shiva.There is lighting but it's only a series of small light bulbs. While primarily a religious site, the cow is a statue over a Shiva lingam. It's being developed as a tourist attraction these days. Continuing on the 40 or so meters down the cave passing other small statues and shrines you'll come across the main Shiva temple which has a strict rule about no photography. Continue on past the temple to the second part of the cave which is about 140 meters in length. Here the walls open up and you can see some nice colors in the cave walls. Further again and you'll come across a metal staircase leading downwards. You'll hear the waterfall ahead from here.Once you have descended the staircase you will have to walk across some uneven rocky ground until you get to an area with a view of the waterfall.

The waterfall has a length of 500 meters and depth of 100 feet. Though the waterfall flows all year round it is best viewed from June to September. An interesting note about the waterfall is that it runs down some rocks before disappearing into an underground tunnel leading to Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave.The waterfalls modern name is constantly debated. It's official name is Patale Chhango. However it's most popularly known as Davis Falls or Devis Falls due to a typographical mistake

Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), established on 1 Nov 1973, initiated the establishment of International Mountain Museum (IMM) in Pokhara. The basic objective for its establishment was made to record, document and chronicle the past and present development of mountaineering activities in the world in general and to preserve the saga of the momentous feats in the history of mountaineering in the Himalayan peaks in particular. The foundation stone of IMM was laid on 1 Dec, 1995. The soft opening of IMM took place on 29 May, 2002 where it was officially opened on 5 Feb, 2004.Nepal's eight thousand meter high peaks records names of thousands of successful summiteers until now but its history is very young. Mountaineers M. Herzog and Louis Lachenal scaled up Annapurna on 3 June, 1950 and since then the records follow.And all its values and mysteries are showcased in the one and only Mountain Museum in the world - the International Mountain Museum, right at the footsteps of the Himalayan range, in Pokhara, Nepal.

Mahendra Cave is a cave located in Pokhara-16,batulechaur, Kaski district, close to the Kali khola,[1] is the large limestone cave. It is a rare example of a cave system in Nepal containing stalagmites and stalactites.[2] The cave attracts thousands of tourists every year.[3] A statue of Hindu lord Shiva can be found inside the cave.

Tal Barahi Temple, also known as Lake Temple or Barahi Temple is a two-story pagoda temple located in the Kaski District of the Gandaki Zone in western Nepal. It is a hindu temple of the Goddess Durga (Barahi), the protector of gods. It is located in a small island on the south east section of Phewa Lake in Pokhara. The temple is used for worship by Hindus.

Day 6: Pokhara Exploration
Stop At: North East of Town Sarangkot, Pokhara 33411 Nepal
The view of the Annapurna Himalaya from Sarangkot (foreigner/Nepali Rs 50/20) is almost a religious experience. From here, you can see a panoramic sweep of Himalayan peaks, from Dhaulagiri (8167m) in the west to the perfect pyramid of Machhapuchhare (6997m), the tent-like peak of Annapurna II (7937m) to Lamjung (6983m) in the east. Most people come here at dawn or dusk, when the sun picks out the peaks, transforming them from a purple-pink to a celestial gold. If you feel noisy teenagers are ruining the peace at the viewing tower, try walking further along to the secluded grassy helicopter pad.
The main village is just below the ridge, but a set of steps leads uphill to a dramatic viewpoint, the site of an ancient kot (fort).
Thereโs a ruined fort at Kaskikot (1788m), a one-hour walk west of Sarangkot along the ridge road, with similarly jaw-dropping views.

Sauraha is a village in Chitwan District of Nepal situated close by the Rapti River and the Chitwan National Park. Continuing on the 40 or so meters down the cave passing other small statues and shrines you'll come across the main Shiva temple which has a strict rule about no photography. Continue on past the temple to the second part of the cave which is about 140 meters in length. Here the walls open up and you can see some nice colors in the cave walls. Further again and you'll come across a metal staircase leading downwards. You'll hear the waterfall ahead from here.Once you have descended the staircase you will have to walk across some uneven rocky ground until you get to an area with a view of the waterfall.

The waterfall has a length of 500 meters and depth of 100 feet. Though the waterfall flows all year round it is best viewed from June to September. An interesting note about the waterfall is that it runs down some rocks before disappearing into an underground tunnel leading to Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave.The waterfalls modern name is constantly debated. It's official name is Patale Chhango. However it's most popularly known as Davis Falls or Devis Falls due to a typographical mistake

Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), established on 1 Nov 1973, initiated the establishment of International Mountain Museum (IMM) in Pokhara. The basic objective for its establishment was made to record, document and chronicle the past and present development of mountaineering activities in the world in general and to preserve the saga of the momentous feats in the history of mountaineering in the Himalayan peaks in particular. The foundation stone of IMM was laid on 1 Dec, 1995. The soft opening of IMM took place on 29 May, 2002 where it was officially opened on 5 Feb, 2004.Nepal's eight thousand meter high peaks records names of thousands of successful summiteers until now but its history is very young. Mountaineers M. Herzog and Louis Lachenal scaled up Annapurna on 3 June, 1950 and since then the records follow.And all its values and mysteries are showcased in the one and only Mountain Museum in the world - the International Mountain Museum, right at the footsteps of the Himalayan range, in Pokhara, Nepal.

Mahendra Cave is a cave located in Pokhara-16,batulechaur, Kaski district, close to the Kali khola,[1] is the large limestone cave. It is a rare example of a cave system in Nepal containing stalagmites and stalactites.[2] The cave attracts thousands of tourists every year.[3] A statue of Hindu lord Shiva can be found inside the cave.

Tal Barahi Temple, also known as Lake Temple or Barahi Temple is a two-story pagoda temple located in the Kaski District of the Gandaki Zone in western Nepal. It is a hindu temple of the Goddess Durga (Barahi), the protector of gods. It is located in a small island on the south east section of Phewa Lake in Pokhara. The temple is used for worship by Hindus.

Day 6: Pokhara Exploration
Stop At: North East of Town Sarangkot, Pokhara 33411 Nepal
The view of the Annapurna Himalaya from Sarangkot (foreigner/Nepali Rs 50/20) is almost a religious experience. From here, you can see a panoramic sweep of Himalayan peaks, from Dhaulagiri (8167m) in the west to the perfect pyramid of Machhapuchhare (6997m), the tent-like peak of Annapurna II (7937m) to Lamjung (6983m) in the east. Most people come here at dawn or dusk, when the sun picks out the peaks, transforming them from a purple-pink to a celestial gold. If you feel noisy teenagers are ruining the peace at the viewing tower, try walking further along to the secluded grassy helicopter pad.
The main village is just below the ridge, but a set of steps leads uphill to a dramatic viewpoint, the site of an ancient kot (fort).
Thereโs a ruined fort at Kaskikot (1788m), a one-hour walk west of Sarangkot along the ridge road, with similarly jaw-dropping views.

Bish Hazari (20 Thousand) lake is in the southern corner of Bharatpur. The lake is very attractive for the bird lovers and serves as an important bird watching center. The lake area houses lots of crocodiles and thus is equally attractive for the reptile lovers. The Lake Lies nearby Chitwan National Park. Bish hazari lake lies just 5 km south from the city center (Chaubishkothi) of Bharatpur.

Thamel is in Kathmandu. It is a haven for tourists visiting the city. It contains numerous hotels, restaurants, and shops that cater specifically to western tourists. It is located in the northern region of Kathmandu past the government district on Tridevi Marj. Although some consider it to be overcrowded it has been used by westerners since the 1970's when hippies in the region discovered it. Although now it has become quite commercial. Thamel is an easy walk from anywhere in central Kathmandu. Though the roads can be quite busy during the day, and traffic can be quite heavy.
