  • Day 1 Day 1: Bangkok / Phetchaburi / Hua Hin

      BANGKOKโ€”MAEKLONGโ€”PETCHBURIโ€”HUA HIN(No Meals Included)

      Pick up from the hotel in Bangkok and drive to Maeklong railways station in Samut Songkram province. The market is famed for having trains passing through the heart of the market. Every morning vendors put their goods, stalls, and umbrellas along the railways. Upon departure and arrival of all trains, they have to rapidly fold their umbrellas and remove their stalls away from the railways and bring back once the train has passed. This unique fun scene is called โ€œTalad Romhubโ€ or โ€œFolding Umbrellas Marketโ€. 


      Upon arrival at 8.30, guests will see the train arrives at the railwayโ€™s station and enjoy the scene described. If time permits and no delays of the trains, guests have an opportunity to board on the train to drive through the market at 9 am and get off at Ban Na Kwang Railways station. 


      Then continue by van to Ampawa, a charming traditional riverside market in the olden days. The market has been revived and opens nowadays for local tourists during weekends. On weekdays, visitors can observe old wooden houses in the peaceful atmosphere and imagine the busy trading by boats along the river. At the market center, guests will learn about several kinds of boats used in the olden days. Then proceed to King Rama II Memorial Museum nearby, where guests can see the architecture of traditional Thai wooden houses and landscape design. 


      The houses are used to display the Thai way of life, believes and tradition in the past. As the birthplace of King Rama II who was famous for Thai arts and music, the collection of Thai musical instruments and puppets are also displayed here. 


      Proceed by van to Petchburi province. During the dry season (December-March), guests will see salt farming along the road to the South. Arrive Petchburi and visit the 92-meter high palace hill - Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park, locally known as Khao Wang (Palace Hill) which was built under the royal command of King Rama IV and in 1860 became his summer palace. 


      Continue driving to Thailandโ€™s famous seaside town, Hua Hin, Thailandโ€™s first beach resort after a train line was laid in the 1920s to provide access from Bangkok and King Rama VII established his summer retreat in the area. With a 5 kilometer-long beach that features numerous activities, the laid back and hospitable town of Hua Hin continues popular for weekenders from Bangkok and foreign tourists. 


      Next visit is Khao Takieb Viewpoint guest will enjoy the view of Hua Hin beach then drive downhill to have a shortstop at Hua Hin Railway station to see beautiful architect during King Rama V period style. Transfer to check-in at the hotel Overnight in Hua Hin at Tip-Urai Hotel or similar.

      HUA HIN โ€“ SAM ROI YOD NP โ€“ CHUMPORN(Includes Breakfast)

      After breakfast visit Maruekhathaiyawan Palace (Closed every Wednesday), the summer seaside golden teakwood palace built in 1923 under the royal command of King Rama VI. 


      Then, travel to Sam Roi Yod district. Due to its many ridges, this coastal area is so-called Khao Sam Roi Yod which means the mountain of 300 peaks and stands not only as a prominent landmark for seamen but also provides a good and safe shelter for ships during the storm. Khao Sam Roi Yod National Park covers an area of 98 square kilometers with limestone mountains, mangrove swamps, and beaches. It is also home to various kinds of local and migrating birds from November to February. 


      Visit the national park center to gather information about the flora and fauna found at the park. Then enjoy a boat trip along Khao Daeng Canal to see mangroves and beautiful mountainous landscape. Then drive further to King Mongkut Memorial Park of Science and Technology at Waghor. 


      Visit an aquarium offering a number of impressive displays of marine and freshwater wildlife and exhibitions including origins of life on earth, underwater worlds, and various ecosystems.  Then continue to Chumporn. Overnight at hotel in Chumporn.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Chumphon / Ranong

      CHUMPORN - RANONG(Includes Breakfast)

      Depart for Ranong after a delicious breakfast. On the way witness the narrowest part of the Malay Peninsula, in southern Thailand and Myanmar at Kra Isthmus. With a width of 44 km between Kra River and the Bay of Sawi nearby Chumporn, the east part of the land bridge belongs to Thailand, while the west part belongs to the Tanintharyi division of Myanmar. 


      Next program is to visit "GONG Valley & Coffee" coffee plantation and local coffee production to enjoy a DIY workshop to roast your own cup of coffee or taste a coffee flower tea. As the biggest producer of Robusta coffee beans in Thailand. Continue driving to Ranong. 


      Arrive Ranong and explore the city. Visit the grave of Ranongโ€™s first governor, Kho Su Chiang, for good luck and learn about Chinese Fengshui of this beautiful sacred place. Then continue to the Rattana Rangsarn Royal Palace which was built for the residence of King Rama V during the royal visit to Ranong Province on 23โ€“25 April 1890. The present teak wood throne hall is rebuilt to replace the original one which was dismantled and replaced by Ranongโ€™s city hall in 2002. 


      Besides beautiful beaches and islands along the coastline of the Andaman sea, Ranong is also blessed with hot spring. Every day at Raksawarin public park, Ranongโ€™s locals relax and enjoy the natural hot spring and heated patio here. Guests are at leisure to try the hot spring and mingle with local people at the park.

      RANONG โ€“ LAEM SON NATIONAL MARINE PARK โ€“ KURABURI(Includes Breakfast)


      After breakfast depart Ranong and drive to Ban Tale Nok Village, which was once destroyed by a Tsunami in 2004. Nowadays, the villagers earn their living from the fishery, shelling cashew nuts, weaving palm roofs and offer visitors tourism services such as food, homestay, and a boat trip to visit the nearby beautiful islands with white sandy beaches. Here guest can enjoy local seafood lunch (pre-order only) to support the local housewives. Included in the program is to learn local Thai dessert making with the villagers. 


      Then take longtail boat for island hopping excursion. This trip shall bring guests to 3 untouched beautiful islands with white sandy beaches to relax and escape from the mainstream. The boat service is provided by the local village nearby such as Ban Tale Nok or Ban Muang Kluang, Live west and snorkeling masks are available on board. The boat trip takes about 45 minutes to the first island called Koh Yeepun or Japanese Island, where the Japanese used as a shelter and food supply during the WWII. 


      There are some traces of the Japanese settlement left to be explored on the island. Continue by boat for 20 minutes to Ao Khao Kwai Island where the park station locates. Here guests are at leisure for swimming or sunbathing. By pre-order, guests can enjoy lunch and drinks which will be provided by the boat owner here, as there is no restaurant on the island. The last stop is Koh Kangkao or Bat Island which offers visitors fine sand that is soft to walk on. To the north, the island has circular pebbles and stones as a distinctive charm. Guests are at leisure for snorkeling or swimming. There are some corals and colorful fishes under the crystal clear water.


      Then return to the national park where guests can take a shower and change clothes before continuing to Kuraburi.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Krabi / Phuket

      KURABURI โ€“ KHAO LAK/PHUKET/KRABI(Includes Breakfast)

      First, visit the Sri Phang-nga National Park. The park covers a total area of 63,320 acres of the Koh Nom Sao Range, which is a national forest reserve locating in Khura Buri and Takua Pa district. It features intact moist evergreen forests. There are many tropical floras in this park such as orchids like ladyโ€™s slippers and Ueang Ngoen Luang โ€“ Dendrobium formosum as well as Yang โ€“ Dipterocarpus alatus. It also serves as a natural habitat for different species of fauna and birds such as Malayan tapir, Sumatran serow, banteng, barking deer, tiger, hornbill, Asian Fairy-bluebird, helmeted hornbill, Soro brook carp, Blythโ€™s giant frog, and many more. 

      Rainy season here is longer than summer as there are rains almost all year from May to December. Guests enjoy walking to explore the national park and its waterfalls such as Tamnang waterfalls, which locate one kilometer from the Parkโ€™s headquarters. The waterfall cascades down a cliff of 63 meters high with water running all year, especially in the rainy season. Soro brook carp fish inhabits the stream. The surrounding area is very shady with large trees. 

      Then drive to further to visit The Phang Nga Coastal Fisheries Research and Development Centre of Royal Thai Navy. The research and breeding program have been initiated by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit to increase the wild populations of Green, Hawksbill, and Olive Ridley sea turtles off the Andaman coast. The Thai Navy has an active role in the turtle conservation program and regularly patrols beaches in the Similan and Surin Islands in the Andaman Sea, for intruders and poachers. They also protect the eggs laid on the remote islands and keep them safe from predators such as birds and crabs. Once they are born, the turtles are brought to the Navyโ€™s turtle protection center where they are nursed for another six months before being released into the sea. The center also takes care of injured turtles.
