      Belgrade is the capital of Serbia. Located at the mouth of the Sava River into the Danube, it has a population of 1.6 million, making it the third largest city on the Danube after Budapest and Vienna and the largest in the country. During a city tour/walk (optional) you will get to know the main sights of the city. One point of visit will be the Kalemegdan Fortress. From here you will have a magnificent view and the opportunity to take pictures. Shortly before midnight your river cruise ship will continue its journey towards the Black Sea.

      Welcome to Rousse, one of the most important Bulgarian cities along the Danube. During an optional excursion, discover the cave monastery of Basarbovo, which impresses with its niches carved in stone and magnificent icons. After a short break in the monastery garden, visit the town of Rousse with the famous Kaliopaโ€™s House. During a tour you will learn interesting facts about the history of the town.

      In the early morning hours arrival of the ship in the Romanian town of Cernavoda. From here you have the opportunity for an optional excursion to the Black Sea. We will visit with you the most important port city in Romania. Constanta was already founded by the Greek colonists in the 7th century BC, as Tomis. Today the city has over 560,000 inhabitants and is the second largest port on the Black Sea, after Istanbul. After the city tour you will continue to Mamaia, the most famous seaside resort in Romania. Here you will be served a delicious lunch and have some free time before returning to the ship.

      From Giurgiu we offer you the possibility to get to know the Romanian capital with a full day excursion (optional). The city became famous for its wide boulevards, spacious parks, many coffee houses and magnificent palaces, but also thanks to its unique charm, as the "Paris of the East". Unique is todayโ€™s Palace of Parliament, the "House of the People", which was built by Ceausescu in 1984. After the Pentagon in Washington DC, the Parliament is the second largest building in the world. The bus ride takes you back through Wallachia to Turnu Magurele, where your ship is already waiting.

      Today you cruise through the beautiful Danube landscape and the cataract stretch of the Southern Carpathians to Vojvodina. Enjoy the time on the sun deck.

      During lunch your ship has docked in a new city. Novi Sad is the second largest city in Serbia with approximately 300,000 inhabitants. Get to know this beautiful university town better during a city tour (optional). The centerpiece is Freedom Square, where you will also find City Hall and the Roman Catholic Cathedral. From the Peterwardein Fortress you have a magnificent view over the city and the river.

      Today you are back in Hungary. In the afternoon you have the possibility to join the optional excursion to Pรฉcs. Pรฉcs is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Hungary, its location at the foot of the Mecsek Mountains and the numerous monuments give it a distinctly Mediterranean atmosphere. Overnight, your captain will take you to Budapest.

      Today you will experience the unforgettable entrance to Budapest. The city is located on both sides of the river: On the western side is the hilly Buda with Castle Hill and the Gellรฉrt Hill with the Citadel, east of the Danube is the flat Pest with the famous Parliament Building. After breakfast you will get a comprehensive impression of the metropolis during our city tour (optional) and get to know the impressive buildings on both banks of the Danube. In the evening you can join the excursion "Budapest by night" (optional), where you will experience Hungarian temperament with music and dance.

      Towards afternoon your ship moors in Bratislava, where we will show you, among other things, St. Martinโ€™s Cathedral, known as the coronation church of the Hungarian kings, and the beautiful Old Town during our city tour with a drive (fak.) to the imposing castle. Celts, Romans, Hungarians, Jews and Slovaks settled here and each people has left its mark in the city, which is reflected in a remarkable variety of architecture.

      On the last day of the trip, experience the uniqueness of the legendary Wachau - one of the most beautiful river valleys and wine-growing areas in Europe. After lunch you can visit the baroque Melk Abbey (optional), which is an important spiritual and cultural center of Austria. Afterwards, enjoy the gorgeous views of the romantic Wachau landscapes as your ship slowly approaches the three-river city of Passau again. Finally, we invite you to a gala dinner.
