      Independent arrival at the hotel in the charming city of Palermo (optional private transfer on request).  At the reception and to your mobile number you will receive the informations regarding the next morning meeting time with the tour leader at the Hotelโ€™s lobby. Dinner on your own and overnight in hotel.

  • Day 2 Palermo - Monreale

      Afer breakfast in hotel, the morning will be spent vising Monreale, its huge Norman Cathedral, proclaimed

      the Eighth Wonder of the World, and its splendid Cloister in Arab-Norman style: admirable masterpiece of art,

      sculpture, and semi-precious stones marquetry! Later you will discover the stunning Palermo, one of the

      richest towns in the island for its history and art. Palermo stands on a bay dominated by Mount Pellegrino, a

      headland described by Goethe as the loveliest he had ever seen. While the Baroque predominates, there is a

      profusion of different architectural styles reflecng the cityโ€™s mulcultural past: Punic walls, Art Nouveau

      villas, noble residences, 17th century squares, including an elegant opera house. Visit of the wonderful eclecc

      Cathedral, the astonishing Martorana Church and the amazing Cappella Pala*na, admirable example from an

      historical and an arsc point of view, and a prove of how different cultures, religions and way of thinking

      apparently incompable can coexist. During theday, you will have a stop for a surprise to taste the local street food in the famous An*ca Focacceria SanFrancesco. Free me for lunch. Along the path you will admire the famous Teatro Massimo and the debated fountain in Pretoria Square, situated in the ancient Kalsa area and adorned with 16th century sculptures.

  • Day 3 Palermo - Cefalu - Catania

      After breakfast transfer to Cefalรน, charming Medieval town situated at the northern coast of Sicily. Visit of its

      stunning Norman Dome and free me to stroll through the town or to visit the famous and well-known

      Mandralisca Museum. Arrival in Catania and free me for lunch. Later on the tour will connue vising

      Cataniaโ€™s historical centre stated Unesco World Heritage Site, with its original Baroque style and its unique

      streets built with black lava stone. The colour scheme of the city-centre buildings is black and dark grey,

      relieved with white limestone details around doors and windows. The effect is extremely elegant! The walking

      tour will start from the scenic Duomo square with its magnificent Cathedral and the famous โ€œLiotruโ€ statue,

      anque lava-stone elephant, symbol of the city. Not far from here we will reach University Square and we will

      have a walk along the splendid baroque Via dei Crociferi, the most representave 18th century street in Catania,

      where we will admire the famous S. Benedict Monastery, Unesco World Heritage Site. Continuing the visit

      enjoy a break in a historical bar of the city centre to taste the typical โ€œgranita & briocheโ€. Dinner on your own and overnight. Hotel in Catania or Aci Trezza Area.

  • Day 4 Etna - Taormina

      Etna - Taormina

      This morning after a short visit of the famous โ€œpescheriaโ€ (the ancient fish market) in Catania, the tour will

      continue with an excursion to the Mount Etna, the highest (c. 3350m) volcano in Europe and one of the largest

      and most active in the world, nowadays Unesco World Heritage Site. Its regional park protects 59.000 hectares

      of unique geology, flora and fauna, villages and farms, and traditional methods of forestry, bee-keeping, wine

      manufacture, stonework and carpentry. Views of stunning landscapes will amaze you heading to Rifugio

      Sapienza. You will reach the โ€œCrateri Silvestriโ€, small volcanic cones now inactive, surrounded by ancient lava

      flows. The view beyond the mountainโ€™s hundreds of subsidiary cones and craters, can extend across the whole

      of Sicily, the Aeolian islands and Calabria. The spectacle is unique! You will have a stop to enjoy the local

      homemade honey and some typical products of the area. The tour connues towards Taormina, charming

      town renowned for its magnificent posion above the sea commanding a celebrated view of Etna. Free time forlunch and in the aternoon visit of Taorminaโ€™s fascinating Greek theatre which will leave you breathless for its

      commading view on Giardini Naxos bay and the Etna mountain! Free time for a nice walk among the

      picturesque Medieval typical narrow streets, to go shopping and looking around the local handicrafts (coral

      jewels, precious laces, ceramics, pastries and much more). The day will end with an overview of the beautiful

      Riviera dei Ciclopi. Back to the hotel in Catania or Aci Trezza , dinner on your own and overnight. 

  • Day 5 Catania - Lipari

      Catania - Lipari

      Our tour continues to the Aeolian Islands without a guide / escort. After breakfast time free in the splendid Catania, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. The riches are innumerable hidden areas of this fascinating city whose late Baroque architecture is made unique by the use of lava stone. In the late morning private transfer to Milazzo. Boarding by hydrofoil for the island of Lipari. Arrival and transfer to 4 * hotel. Free afternoon. Dinner at the Hotel and overnight

  • Day 6 Lipari - Salina
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Lipari - Salina

      After breakfast at the hotel, the day will be dedicated to discovering the most beautiful coves of Lipari and the verdant Salina. After leaving the Castle of Lipari, Monte Rosa and Canneto, the first stop will be made at the pumice quarries for a swim. Once again, we will skirt the Acquacalda bay and then head towards Salina.

      The first stop will be in S. Marina di Salina where it will be possible to visit the most important municipality of the island. Resuming navigation, we will skirt the eastern side of the island, admiring the cultivation of Malvasia grapes, the village of Capo Faro and the village of Malfa and stop for a swim in the beautiful bay of Pollara, made famous by Massimoโ€™s film. Troisi "Il Postino". We will then make a stop in Lingua, a small fishing village where, in addition to the restaurants and delightful coves, it will be possible to visit the salt lake that gave this island its name. On the way back you will admire the most beautiful caves of Lipari to take the last swim on the beach of Vinci, in front of the Faraglioni. Return to Lipari in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 7 Panareal - Stromboli

      Panareal - Stromboli

      After breakfast at the hotel, departure from the port of Lipari for the full day Panarea & Stromboli excursion. Before leaving Lipari, we will make a stop at the pumice quarries. We will then continue to Panarea, where it will be possible to visit the natural bay of Calajunco, above which the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese is located, andstop in the adjacent Cala Zimmari. We will then leave for the panoramic tour of the Islets, visiting the Grotta degli Fall in love, until you reach the port. Here you can have lunch, take a walk through the refined streets and visit the prehistoric village. The boat will then continue towards Stromboli passing among the islets surrounding the small island to admire the village of Ginostra from the sea. Once on the island, dinner and the opportunity to stroll around the shops and magnificent gardens or take a swim in the magnificent cobalt-colored waters. In the various breaks between dives and long regenerating swims, in the summer, it will be possible to enjoy the marine environment, beaches and volcanic caves. At sunset you will see Strombolicchio, a mammoth rock and admire the Sciara del fuoco, a steep slope furrowed by lava streams, to witness the evocative explosions from the sea that this volcano gives us.

  • Day 8 Lipari - Taormina

      Lipari - Taormina

      Breakfast in the hotel, appointment to the port for hydrofoil boarding directed to Milazzo. Private transfer to

      Taormina, charming town renowned for its magnificent position above the sea commanding a celebrated

      view of Etna. Free time for a nice walk among the picturesque Medieval typical narrow streets, go shopping

      and looking around the local handycraft (coral jewels, precious laces, ceramics, sweets and much more).

      Dinner and overnight in hotel.
