      Arrival in Muscat in the morning and transfer to the hotel. Your room will be ready for you on arrival.


      Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and a free morning.


      In the afternoon (approx. 14:30) drive to the marina Banda al Rhowda. A 2-hour boat trip along the coast of Muscat starts from here. Then continue to Muscat Bay, which is dominated on its flanks by the two forts Mirani in the west and Jalali in the east. The Al Alam Palace is also located here. The tour then continues through the harbor district to the Mutrah Souq.

      After breakfast, your city tour of Muscat begins with a visit to the Grand Mosque. You will then drive through the embassy district, where you will also visit the interesting Natural History Museum. Afterwards, you will head towards Jabreen with its fortress. Continue to the photo stop in Bahla, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, which has been carefully restored. You change to off-road vehicles and drive to Jebal Shams, the Mountain of the Sun. The first stop is Al Hamra, a fascinating example of adobe architecture. Once in the Jebel Shams Mountains, you can go on an easy hike (optional).

      After breakfast, return with the 4WD vehicles to Al Hamra, where you will visit a private museum. Then change vehicles. Continue to Misfat, which is built entirely of natural stone and literally clings to a steep mountain slope, then on to Nizwa. From the tower you can see the entire city center of Nizwa. Drive to the hotel and check-in. You have some free time before driving back to the center of Nizwa to visit the lively souk.

      Sinaw will delight you today with its colorful market: colorfully dressed Bedouin women do their shopping here and sell their handicrafts. Continue to Wadi Bani Khalid, probably the most beautiful oasis in Oman. The wadi has lush green vegetation and the crystal-clear, shimmering turquoise-green water is teeming with small fish. Continue into the desert, the Wahiba Sands, where you will be picked up by experienced drivers in Al Wasil and driven to your desert camp by off-road vehicle. Enjoy the afternoon and evening in the camp.

      Travel from the solitude of the desert to the hustle and bustle of the industrial city of Sur, the contrast is immense! But Sur also has its historical secrets. For centuries, the ocean-going dhows that dominated the Arabian seas were built here. Today, this tradition is lovingly upheld. The journey continues along the coast to Muscat. On the way, you will make a stop in Wadi Shab. Hike in the wadi (optional). Continue to Muscat.

      Today you head west, visiting the traditional vegetable and fruit market in Barka and the small Bait Naโ€™aman museum. Through the fertile Batinah plain you reach the mighty fortress of Nakhl, which was built directly in front of the gigantic backdrop of the steep and barren Jebel Nakhl mountain range. From the old village center of Nakhl, a road leads through the date palm gardens to the hot springs of Ain-Thowarah. Relax near the springs before heading to the airport. Flight to Salalah and transfer to your 5* beach resort.

      Visit to the old fishing village of Taqa. You can see traditional Dhofar houses here. Continue to Khor Rohri, to the ruins of the ancient city of Sumharum. In Mirbat, the old capital of the Dhofar, stroll through the alleyways and discover old Ottoman mud houses. You will see the tomb of Sheikh Bin Ali.

      In the morning, drive to Al Balid, the former export port for frankincense and horses. The frankincense museum gives you an insight into the rich history.


      In Salalah, visit the old town of Al Haffa, photo stops at the Shanfari Mosque, Al-Husn Palace and the Sultanโ€™s summer residence.
