      You will travel to Italy, be met at the airport in Naples and transferred to your hotel on the Sorrento Peninsula. On your drive you will get a first impression of the famous landscape of Campania. In the evening you will meet your fellow travelers for a dinner together. (A)

      Day 2: Boat Trip Along The Amalfi Coast

      In the morning you will meet your tour guide and learn about the program of the coming days. Along the beautiful Amalfi Coast (UNESCO World Heritage Site) you will sail by boat across the Mediterranean Sea. Marvel at the rugged and massive cliffs with their small villages in steep positions. You will come very close to the famous and private island of Li Galli during your trip. I wonder which international celebrity is vacationing there right now? Enjoy a light snack on board before going ashore again in Amalfi. Together, visit the Duomo with its monumental grand staircase. Popular belief has it that whoever makes it up the 67 steps in one breath will have one wish granted. Give it a try! (F/S/A)

      The day is yours. We recommend you book an excursion to the beautiful island of Capri with your tour guide (optional, bookable on site). Enjoy the exclusive boat ride and a light snack on your crossing. The limestone island is one of the most famous destinations in the Mediterranean and awaits its visitors with an impressive picture-book scenery. You will take a short walk around the island and experience a mixture of interesting culture and Mediterranean nature. Afterwards you will have free time. In the afternoon you will take the boat back to Massa Lubrense and to your hotel for your dinner together. (B/S/A)

      Day 4: Vesuvius And Pompeii

      Today you will visit one of the most active volcanoes in the world, Mount Vesuvius. Since 1841, the sleeping giant has been observed from a volcanological research station on the southern slope. During a hike to the crater rim (easy, approx. 3.5 km, walking time: approx. 1 hour, +/-165 vertical meters) you will be amazed not only by the view into the volcanic vent, but also by the unique view of Naples and its gulf. Afterwards, stop at a typical winery at the foot of Vesuvius. Taste the tasty local wines, whose grapes thrive on the fertile slopes of the volcano, over a light lunch. The next highlight of your trip is the ancient archaeological site of Pompeii (UNESCO World Heritage Site). During the initial eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, hot lava destroyed the former provincial and port city, burying it under a layer of ash and rock. From todayโ€™s excavations, which cover only part of the former city, you will get a glimpse of the former life of the Romans. (B/M/A)

      Day 5: Coastal Hike

      From the extreme tip of the peninsula, Punta Campanella, you will walk along the coast. You will be accompanied by wide and splendid views over the Amalfi Coast, the Gulf of Naples and Sorrento, as well as the Faraglioni rocks of the island of Capri (moderate, approx. 8 km, approx. 3.5 hrs, +/-450 hm). On your way towards Marina del Cantone you will stop for a snack. In the late afternoon you will be back at your hotel and have plenty of time to refresh yourself at the hotelโ€™s pool. (F/S/A)

      Day 6: Naples

      The capital of Campania is on your program today. During a joint discovery tour you will see, among other things, the Galleria Umberto I, the royal Teatro San Carlo and the royal palace Palazzo Reale. In the historic center of the city (UNESCO World Heritage Site), other sights await you, such as the San Lorenzo Maggiore complex, consisting of a basilica, a monastery and ancient excavations. At noon you are invited to try the famous Neapolitan pizza. Buon appetito! A contrast to your morning will be the artistic metro stations. An artistic surprise related to each neighborhood awaits you at the stations underground. (B/M/A)

      Day 7: Sorrento

      Todayโ€™s excursion takes you to nearby Sorrento. You will take a tour through the romantic alleys of the charming town and past its most beautiful palazzi. Afterwards, you will taste homemade mozzarella and limoncello, a liqueur made from local lemons, at a regional farm. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Relax by the hotel pool or take a longer stroll through Sorrento. Your tour guide will explain how to get back to the hotel independently. During your last dinner together, you can talk about the exciting, past days. (B/A)
