TOUR TYPE: Small group tour. Ideal for solo and independent travellers to meet other like-minded travellers to share the experience with. Your tour leader and the composition of your group may change in certain days as the groups are small and we want to make sure you can meet as many new fellow travellers as possible. Italy on a Budget tour leaders are most of them raised and born in Italy for you to have the real Italian experience but don’t worry, they are all fully fluent in English! The aim of the group leader is to help you have the best trip possible. Your leader takes care of logistics, will provide information on the places you are travelling through, offer suggestions for things to do and see and recommend great local eating venues. While not being guides in the traditional sense, you can expect them to have a broad general knowledge of the places visited on the trip, including historical, cultural and social aspects. If you are interested in delving deeper into the historical facts at a specific site or location, we can recommend optional licensed local guide services in most of the main destinations of your trip. Wish to join or end the tour in Rome? You can easily take a fast-speed train from either Florence or Rome to reach the group in Naples. Our team is happy to organize the train tickets for you in advance. You just need to contact us in advance!

Day 1 Naples, Pompeii & Sorrento Coast

Meet your guide in Naples and start your holiday in the South of Italy. As we drive towards our first stop of this adventure, the remarkable ruins of Pompeii, you’ll get to understand what life was like here before Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD smothering its inhabitants in hot ash. After the 2h visit, follow your local tour leader to your base in Sorrento for the next 3 nights traveling along the coast with amazing views of the Gulf of Naples. Refresh and get cozy for your first "passeggiata" (a time-honored tradition that involves gentle casual strolling) in the little alley of Sorrento when the sun goes down and the sunset lights color the Bay of Naples.
Day 2 Boat Tour To Capri Island

Boat Tour To Capri Island

Start the day with a boat trip to Capri island. In Capri you will have time to first tour around the island to admire the Grotta Verde (Green Grotto), Punta Carena, (the furthest point of the island), the Faraglioni rocks and all the amazing natural beauties, and once landed to discover the island in complete freedom. Once back to the accommodation you will be taken for a swim in a spectacular natural pool of emerald water set among the ancient Roman ruins with coastal views at the sunset. Spend the evening as you prefer.
Day 3 Spend The Day On The Amalfi Coast And Positano

Spend The Day On The Amalfi Coast And Positano

Our third day is all for the Amalfi coast and its wonders. A local tour guide & driver will lead you to discover Amalfi and Positano. The panorama from the narrow and windy road of the Amalfi coast will be terrific. During the journey to Amalfi, we will pass by the Islands of Galli, the fishing villages of Furore and Praiano, famous for their crystal-clear seas, the encompassing views and its cathedral located 365m above sea level.

We will stop in the morning in the town of Amalfi, sightseeing and relaxing in one of its sun-filled piazzas, or visiting the large Duomo Cathedral with its brightly colored tiles which are typical of the region. Positano will be the last stop of the day to recharge you for the big last night in Sorrento.
Day 4 Naples - Florence

Naples - Florence

Our private bus will come to pick us up from the accommodation in the morning. We will stop in Naples, this vibrant seaside city that is unique, and renowned for its amazing food, incredible history, and glamorous shopping. We will take you for an orientation walk and will show you the best places including the San Carlo theatre, Plebiscite square, Umberto I ’s gallery, the old city centre, the Spanish quarters home of Maradona football players,s and lots more. And for the perfect conclusion of this first part, we will end in style with a famous Neapolitan pizza with buffalo mozzarella.

Continue your adventure heading North, jump on the bullet train we booked for you, and finally reach Florence...

Direct yourself towards the accommodation. check-in and meet back your guide in the late afternoon for an orientation walk through the city center where you will fall in love with the art, the local traditions, and the architecture. We will end the tour in one of the busiest streets of Florence renowned for the many bars where to hang out at night. Here we will stop at the bar rated by the locals as the best aperitivo place in town.
Day 5 Tuscany With Food & Wine

Tuscany With Food & Wine

Today, check out in the morning and take our private vehicle to the gorgeous Tuscan hills, get out of the city and spend some quality time sightseeing the beautiful countryside, and taste famous Chianti wine. We will depart at 8:45 am and we will tour around Chianti stopping in Monteriggioni, the Medieval Assassin’s creed Castel, Siena, with its UNESCO-listed historic center & at a local winery for a terrific experience with food & wine. Finally, reach your nest in the Tuscan hills for the next 2 days; a country hotel with movie views of cypress trees landscapes and a refreshing outdoor pool.

Day 6 Another Tuscany Day!

Another Tuscany Day!

A new day in Chianti has just started and you already feel relaxed however your day can only get better. Spend the morning enjoying the sweet life in Tuscany at your own pace. Optionally you can book with our team a cooking course on a Tuscan farm or a 1H horseback ride through the vineyards. You can also choose to spend the afternoon soothing your senses and releasing your thoughts and stress in the SPA resort surrounded by centuries-old olive trees with indoor and outdoor pools heated to 34°, a sauna, Turkish bath, Tuscan aquarium, cold mist and summer storm and herbal tea relax corner. End the day in the restaurant of the resort with a candlelit dinner while overlooking the panorama of the surrounding hills.
Day 7 The Sad Goodbye!

The Sad Goodbye!

Check out your accommodation in Chianti in the morning to return back to Florence at 4:00pm. Feel free to store your bags in our office to continue exploring the city in complete freedom or organize your next travels. Arrival time in central Florence 5:00pm. On the last day we leave the travelers free to leave Florence whenever it is best for them and completely free to visit the museums and monuments in full relaxation.
