  • Day 2 Windhoek

      Windhoek

      Upon arrival, you will be greeted at Windhoek Airport by an English-speaking driver who will take you to the Craft Center in Windhoek. If you land before 10 am, a light breakfast will be served here. You can arrive at Windhoek Airport by 1 pm. Together with the other participants and the German-speaking tour guide, the group departs from the Craft Center at 2 pm for the Kalahari.

  • Day 3 Kalahari - Sesriem

      Kalahari - Sesriem

      If you wish, you can take part in an optional "Sunrise Drive" into the red dunes of the Kalahari this morning. Then continue to Sesriem. Take a break en route in the quirky desert nest of Solitaire, where you can sample the famous apple pie for a small and fair price. Your accommodation in Sesriem itself is beautifully situated on the edge of the dune belt. After checking in, you can enjoy the view from the terrace before dinner is served.

  • Day 4 Sossusvlei

      You drive into the national park at sunrise to marvel at the dunes in the best photo light. The unique light atmosphere in the early morning is indescribably beautiful and accompanies you through the dune landscape, along 500-year-old dead acacias in Dead Vlei to the dune crest - the highest dune is 350 meters high. Breakfast is taken as a picnic at the foot of the dunes. Afterwards, visit the Sesriem Canyon, which the dry Tsauchab River has carved into the sedimentary rock over two million years.

  • Day 5 Sesriem - Swakopmund

      Sesriem - Swakopmund

      Continue across the desert landscape of the Namib, past the Kuiseb Canyon and Ghaub Pass to Swakopmund. Swakopmund is multicultural, an heirloom of history, from the Rhenish Mission Church, the Hohenzollern House and the old district court to the landing stage, which now houses a restaurant. After an orientation tour of the town, simply follow your nose - you canโ€™t miss the witnesses of the past.

  • Day 6 Swakopmund

      The day is at your leisure. How about a boat trip in Walvis Bay to watch seals and dolphins? In addition to a unique wildlife spectacle, you can also enjoy fresh oysters from the bay and all kinds of other delicacies on board (excursion package).

  • Day 7 Swakopmund - Twyfelfontein

      En route to Damaraland, we visit the famous Spitzkoppe with its unique rock formations. The famous Rock Arch should not be missing from any souvenir photo. You will reach your hotel in the late afternoon.

  • Day 8 Twyfelfontein - Etosha National Park

      Twyfelfontein - Etosha National Park

      This morning, you will visit the rock engravings of Twyfelfontein, which can be viewed on an easy hike. Here you can also admire the rock formations of the so-called organ pipes before continuing to your lodge on the edge of Etosha Park. Your day ends in an atmospheric setting around the campfire at the lodge.

  • Day 9 Etosha National Park

      Etosha National Park

      Today you will discover the wildlife of Etosha National Park up close in an open off-road vehicle. The open vegetation in the park provides a view of elephants, antelopes, giraffes, zebras and, with a bit of luck, lions and leopards, which occasionally visit the waterholes. Your guide knows the best animal sighting spots and gives you the unique feeling of being part of the wilderness.

  • Day 10 Etosha National Park - Tsumeb

      Etosha National Park - Tsumeb

      Today you will cross the Etosha National Park in a touring vehicle and drive to the east of the park. On the way, you will stop again and again at waterholes or interesting animal sightings. Continue to the vicinity of Tsumeb.

  • Day 11 Grootfontein - Waterberg

      Grootfontein - Waterberg

      Today we continue to the Waterberg region, a fateful site of the Herero uprising against German colonial rule. 200 meters high on the Waterberg Plateau, a national park has grown over this inglorious chapter. The battlefield has become a paradise from which the adventures of the next few days will shine out in the surreal colors of the Kalahari. After a visit to the Waterberg, we arrive at our lodge in the late afternoon.

  • Day 12 Waterberg - Windhoek
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Waterberg - Windhoek

      If you wish, you can take part in optional rhino tracking this morning (excursion package), where, with a little luck, you can observe these endangered animals at close range. Afterwards, return to Windhoek with a stop at a beautiful woodcarving market. After an orientation tour of Windhoek, you will reach your accommodation in the early evening. Your tour guide will now bid you farewell after an eventful day here.
