Mountain guides are always included and compulsory for Mount Meru climbs in Arusha National Park.

Meals

All meals on the mountain, will be included and prepared by your own cook, including the last day of your trek.

Your pre-climb and post-climb accommodation in Moshi (Tanzania) is always included in your climb package and accommodation on the mountain in Mountain huts.

Transport

Transfers to / from the park gates (from Moshi) are always included in your climb package.

Hygieneprotocol

Personal hygiene and โ€˜washing handsโ€™: The best defense against corona virus is washing hands with soap and water (or using appropriate sanitizers where water is not readily available).       Depart from Moshi to Nalemuru gate, complete your registration. Start your trek through the forest zone that shelters variety of wildlife. Forest begins to thin out and Simba camp is at the edge of the moorland zone with extensive views.

      Around mid-night start for the summit to Gilmanโ€™s Point (5681m) and then proceed to Stella point, take a short rest and continue to Uhuru Peak (5895m). Spend few minutes at the peak and later descend to Kibo camp for a short rest and later descend to Horombo Camp to wind up your day

      Day 6: Horombo Huts Marangu Gate To Moshi

      Continue your descent through the heather and moorland, and then to rain forest zone to Marangu Gate (1860m).  Upon arrival at the gate complete park formalities, and tipping ceremony with your support team. Our driver will then transfer you to Moshi.
