(otherwise, additional charge will apply to the price) then we’re headed to Puebla de los Angeles, to explore the impressive Santa Maria Tonantzintla temple, decorated with mastery by the skillful indigenous hands. Upon arriving in Puebla, we’ll be able to admire the beauty of the Rosario Chapel, the imposing Cathedral, the majestic Main Square, and the valuable Historic Center. Then, we’ll continue our journey to Oaxaca, where we’ll arrive and stay to rest and keep exploring.
Day 2 Oaxaca - Monte Albán - Mitla - Tule

This day begins with a delicious breakfast that nourishes and prepares us for an exciting adventure. Today, we delve into the history and culture of Mexico by visiting Monte Alban, an impressive archaeological site built on a mountain. There, we discover the manifestations of the ancient Olmec, Zapotec, and Mixtec cultures, exploring places like “La Gran Plaza,” the Observatory, Tumba Number 7, and the Danzante Stelae. Next, we head to Mitla, a city of great importance to the ancient inhabitants of the region, known as the "city of the dead" due to its beautiful decoration based on symbolic lattices. We continue our adventure by visiting the Tule tree, perhaps the most voluminous living being in the world. Finally, we head to Oaxaca, a beautiful colonial city, where we visit iconic places such as the Cathedral, the magnificent temple of Santo Domingo, and the Gold Museum. At the end of the day, we stay in a comfortable and relaxing place to rest and prepare for the next day.

Upon arriving in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, we head to the dock to embark on an exciting boat adventure through the impressive Sumidero Canyon. We continue our journey to San Cristobal de Las Casas, where we will stay in a cozy hotel.

Each piece is a masterpiece of pre-Columbian culture, transporting us to an ancient world full of mysteries and wisdom. We can’t wait to see these wonders with our own eyes and immerse ourselves in history.

Finally, we’ll transfer to the city’s airport to take the return flight with a mind full of unforgettable memories.
