The accommodation in Hulhumale and Rasdhoo wil be in a 3+ star hotels/guesthouses. Guests will be provided Single Room accommodation unless informed to us in writing at the time of booking for alternative options such as sharing with a friend who’s joining you on your solo tour. Most rooms are fitted with BS1363 UK three pin plug points with 220V AC current. Guests are advised to bring their own universal adapters as hotels carries only limited stock of these adapters. All the hotels/guesthouses who have partnered up with Island Wanderers are audited regularly to ensure they meet our acceptable standard of quality. Even though these hotels are listed as 3+ star, you will be pleasantly surprised at the level of quality of these properties. A lot of the hotels are local owner operated, so many of our guests get served directly by the hotel/guesthouse owners during their stay

Transport

Transport during this tour will be mainly using Speedboats. All speedboats are equipped with life jackets for your safety. However, you may be required to travel in smaller boats on your excursion trips and life jackets may not be readily available. Always insist on a life jacket if you are not confident with your abilities in the water

Day 1: Arrival In Maldives

Meet our Tour Guide upon arriving at Velana International Airport. He will then assist with your transfer to your hotel in the island of Hulhumale which is an island right next to Male’ City and the Airport Island. Here you’ll be briefed of your tour and then it’s up to you to explore either Hulhumale or Male’ City on your first day in Maldives
Day 2 Day 2: Depart To Rasdhoo & Night Fishing

Day 2: Depart To Rasdhoo & Night Fishing

You’ll be required to check out of the hotel and be ready for your transfer at 09.30am. Our transfer will take you to the harbour where your Tour Guide will then assist you to your speedboat to the island of Rasdhoo. Upon arrival in Rashoo you’ll be checked into your hotel and have the opportunity to explore Rasdhoo by yourself. A night fishing trip will be organized for the evening. Day 3 Day 3: Manta Snorkel & Jet Ski

Meet the majestic Manta’s on a morning snorkel with the best guides in the island. While this may be the highlight of your excursion, you’re bound to run into more local marine life. We’re heading to Madivaru Finolhu, a natural sandbank just a quick boat ride away from Rasdhoo. No trip to Maldives is complete until you get to experience a local sandbank. Many locals love to spend the whole day here just chilling or having a BBQ. This location is also great to enjoy some wake-boarding. Day 5 Day 5: Day Fishing & Fun Tube

Day 5: Day Fishing & Fun Tube

Start your day by heading out to the ocean for a day fishing trip. Our crew will make sure you’re all set and provide all the necessary equipment to ensure you’re a proper fisherman! If you’re lucky the hotel’s chef just might cook your catch of the day for you to enjoy a local BBQ experience. Enjoy the rest of the day Fun Tubing in the lagoon of the island. Day 6 Day 6: Picnic Island & Snorkel

Day 6: Picnic Island & Snorkel

Pack up a day bag as you’re heading off to a local style picnic. The destination may vary as it depends on the availability and weather, so you’ll be advised of the final destination by the excursion guide. But nonetheless, this is a great way to experience another beautiful island. Then it’s time for a snorkel in the crystal clear waters. Day 7 Day 7: Return To Hulhumale & Male’ City Tour

Day 7: Return To Hulhumale & Male’ City Tour

You’ll have an early transfer to catch from Rasdhoo to Hulhumale at 07.30am. So make sure you’re all packed in time to avoid any delays. Our Tour Guide will meet you once you reach Male’ city to get you checking into your last hotel for the tour. You’ll have the opportunity to join in on afternoon Male’ City tour to experience the hectic life of local Maldivians in the city.
