Day 2: London Discovery - Westminster Abbey - Buckingham Palace - Tower Of London

You will take a tour with a specialist guide through the city of London and its most representative places. Start the day with an early entry to Westminster Abbey so that you can visit this masterpiece of Gothic architecture before the crowds arrive. With your guide, youโ€™ll learn about the abbeyโ€™s long history, which includes royal weddings, coronations, and illustrious funerals. Then, youโ€™ll walk across St. Jamesโ€™s Park to Wellington Barracks near Buckingham Palace, where you can see the new guard getting ready to exchange duty with the old guard. Youโ€™ll also get to see a smaller ceremony, which is less famous but equally fascinating: the changing of the Queenโ€™s Life Guard. Next, youโ€™ll head to Trafalgar Square to learn about British naval history under the watchful eye of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson. There are also some hidden gems to discover around the square, including a world record holder. After a break for lunch, the tour continues with a scenic cruise down the River Thames up to the Tower of London. Here, your skip-the-line ticket takes you past the crowds and inside to see the incredible collection of precious gems that make up the Crown Jewels. Youโ€™ll also learn all about the secrets and stories that make this place so fascinating.

Free time for you to explore this magnificent city. We advise you to take another tour to have a better understanding of the history and the city itself. For example: join a visit to Leeds Castle, Canterbury and Dover, take a little cruise on Greenwich River at sunset time or enjoy Stratford-upon-Avon, Cotswolds and Warwick Castle as well. It is also convenient to take advantage of your time and get a little bit out of the city to visit Cambridge, Oxford or Manchester, which are at a very close distance and are worth visiting too. Day 4: Magnificent Day: Windsor Castle, Stonehenge & City Of Bath

Be ready today for unforgettable Magnificent Day.

Reach the meeting point and motor comfortably out of London.

Steeped in history, Windsor Castle perches proudly on a lush wooded hill overlooking the Thames. Dating back to Norman times, with sweeping landscaped gardens and turreted Round Tower, itโ€™s easy to see why itโ€™s the Kingโ€™s favourite weekend residence royal Windsor. Enjoy a fascinating throughโ€“theโ€“keyhole peek at the lavish State Apartments, home to priceless artworks by Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci, and visit St. Georgeโ€™s Chapel, the atmospheric final resting place of former monarchs including Henry VIII. You can visit Queen Maryโ€™s Dollsโ€™ House, a truly incredible structure complete with working lifts, running water, electricity and wine bottles, all in miniature! Then proceed to Stonehenge. The true meaning of this ancient, awe-inspiring creation has been lost in the mists of time. Was Stonehenge a temple for sun worship, a healing centre, a burial site or perhaps a huge calendar? How did our ancestors manage to carry the mighty stones from so far away and then, using only the most primitive of tools, build this amazing structure? Surrounded by mystery, Stonehenge never fails to impress. Continue to Bath. Standing proudly on the slopes of the River Avon, beautiful Bath was the first city in England to be designated an UNESCO World Heritage site. The gorgeous 15th century Bath Abbey, the stunning Georgian architecture, the romantic Pulteney Bridge, modeled on Florenceโ€™s Ponte Vecchio, are all sights to linger on in the memory of your day. No tour of Bath would be complete without a visit to the famous Roman Baths that gave the city its name. This beautifully preserved bathing complex still flows with water from Britainโ€™s only hot spring. Marvel at the dazzling torchโ€“lighting ceremony as dusk falls (not applicable in summer) and sip Bathโ€™s healing waters in the Pump Room, a stunning neoโ€“classical salon.
