Day 1: AIRPORT PICK UP / NEGOMBO COASTAL CITY

Start Point Negombo, Sri Lanka.
Upon arrival to Colombo CMB airport, you will meet your tour leader and you will be transferred to your hotel.

The ๏ฌrst destination will be Negombo coastal city, which has long been known as the most popular beach in Sri Lanka, famous for its sandy beach, sea food, fun and shopping.

Day 2: CULTURAL VILLAGE TOUR / SIGIRIYA LION ROCK
Stop At: Habarana, Habarana, North Central Province
Upon arrival to Dambulla, you will have the opportunity to visit green paddy fields and to enjoy amazing views in Habarana area. While on the tour you will have a 15 minutes canoeing ride across the lake and finally you will reach the farmerโs house where you will experience the typical Sri Lankan countryside hospitality and visit his farm. Moreover you will get to know different types of cultivation methods and vegetables.

Stop At: Sigiriya, Sigiriya, Central Province
In the evening you will visit Sigiriya Lion Rock, where you may capture the beautiful scenery of sun setting. Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress located near the town of Dambulla. King Kasyapa (477 โ 495 BC) built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colourful frescoes. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and it is one of the best preserved examples of ancient civilization. Sigiriya refuses to reveal its secrets easily; in fact you have to climb a series of vertiginous staircases to reach the top. On the way youโll pass quite remarkable frescoes and a pair of colossal lion paws carved into the bedrock.

Day 3: CAVE TEMPLE / SPICE GARDEN / HISTORICAL KANDY CITY
Stop At: Dambulla Royal Cave Temple, Kandy - Jaffna Highway, Dambulla 21100 Sri Lanka
In the morning after the breakfast visit Dambulla Cave Temple. Dambulla has the largest and best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. It has been treasured by many kings since the 1st century B.C. The rock towers 160 meters over the surrounding plains and houses 5 cave temples with some of the most unique and significant historical drawings. The murals cover an area of 2100 square metres and depict the temptation of the demon Mara and Buddhaโs first sermon.

Afterwards you will visit the Matale Spice Garden (INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE) en route to Kandy.

Then proceed towards Kandy, the capital of the last Sinhalese Kingdom. It's set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and bio diverse rainforests. Kandy is also famous for its sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic. The other main attractions are the Royal Botanical Garden, Bahirawa Kanda view point, the fruit and vegetable market, the lake and the city center.
In the evening you will enjoy a Cultural Dance Show which is inspired by Sri Lankan arts, dance and cultural heritage and it is a must see for any traveller who visit the historical city of Kandy.

Day 4: NUWARA ELIYA TEA PLANTATIONS AND WATERFALLS

After early breakfast youโll have a wonderful journey through the lush green tea plantations, the scenic view of the mountains and the waterfalls towards the tea region of Nuwara Eliya. It is often referred as โLittle Englandโ because many of the buildings in this city retain from the British colonial period, such as the Queen's Cottage, the General's House, the Grand Hotel, the Hill Club and the Town Post Office. In addition, this place is characterised by a cool climate all year long.
