We provide English speaking local guides at each destination of your trip, the chosen local guide will strike a great balance between knowledgeable storytelling, humor, and giving you sufficient space and personal time to enjoy the awe-inspiring sites. He will provide information on the places you are travelling through, offer suggestions for things to do and see, recommend great local eating venues. If you were interested in delving deeper into the local culture at a specific site, you can count on your assigned local speaking guide.

In the wake of the ensuing COVID crisis, we have re-invented our hygiene protocols and have taken concrete steps along with training our guides, drivers, representatives and other staff at our destinationsโ€™ offices. So, we are fully prepared for your safe travel. โ€ขHotels will conduct thermal screening of guests, baggage screening, maintaining kitchen hygiene, smooth check-in and check-out process along with daily cleaning of rooms. โ€ขOur drivers/representatives will be wearing masks, using hand sanitizers & gloves, and undergoing thermal screening before every assignment. The vehicles too will be sanitized on a daily basis. โ€ขOur guides will be wearing masks and using hand sanitizers, gloves, and undergoing thermal screening before every assignment. โ€ขAll public places at Airports/Railway Stations/Restaurants and other assisting staff therein shall be governed by the regulations laid down for the prevention of COVID 19. โ€ขExtensive COVID-19 Health & Safety guidelines recommended by the World Health Organisation shall be strictly adhered to. โ€ขAll our partners will strictly follow the social distancing protocol as mandated by the Government. โ€ขSafety kits will be provided to all the guests, including a sanitizer, gloves, and a mask, before the commencement of the tour. โ€ขOur focus shall be on providing customized and private tours to ensure the safety and health of our guests. โ€ขE-Documents will be provided for the trip such as Confirmation Status/Hotel Vouchers/Itinerary/Invoice etc.

Accommodation

07 Nights accommodation at good 3 star hotels / Luxury Tents on Twin / Double Sharing basis. Check-in Time : Throughout the trip, we request all our hotels prepare rooms in time as per your arrival time, especially if you are reaching the hotel prior to normal check-in time. (In India, normal check-in is at 14:00 hrs, check-out is at 10:00 hrs). This may not be always possible to manage early check-in for you; in that case you wonโ€™t be able to check-in immediately on arrival at some hotels. Instead, you can store your luggage and explore the new destination. Pre/Post Accommodation : If youโ€™ve purchased pre-trip or post-trip accommodation (if available), you may be required to change rooms from your trip accommodation for these extra nights. Internet : Depending on the areas in which you travel, you may have limited access to the Internet. Hoteliers often charge for the connection (hourly or daily). โ€ข The style of accommodation indicated is a guideline. On rare occasions, if the suggested hotels are not available due to high demand, we will book similar alternate hotels for you.

Flights

The Domestic Flights are not included in the package cost, we will advise you the flight fare once you tell us the exact dates of your travel. The International flight tickets have to be booked on your own. Once you book your international flight tickets, please share with us your schedule so that we can arrange your smooth pick-up and drop off from airport to hotel on your arrival day and hotel to the airport on the departure day. Passports and Visas : All travelers listed on the Participant Information form must be in possession of a valid passport and all relevant visas. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid travel documentation, including but not limited to passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other Government authorities at every destination. If your itinerary includes travel to any other country besides India, please check on visa requirements for each country that you will visit. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility.

Insurance

Travel insurance is not covered in the tour price. You can organize travel insurance with your preferred insurance company. We recommend World Nomads, a company recommended by Lonely Planet.

      Our services start with your arrival at Leh airport. Meet & greet and transfer to the Hotel. Welcome drink on arrival. 


      We recommend you half Day relax for the rest to acclimatize to the rarefied air at the high altitude. 


      After noon leave to visit Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace. 


      Dinner at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.


  • Day 2 Day 2: Leh โ€“Monastery Tour

      Day 2: Leh โ€“Monastery Tour

      Today our guide takes you to an exciting sightseeing of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Monasteries.

      Shey - Set on the eastern bank of the river Indus, the small village Shey is just about 15 kms from Leh. The place is popular for the ancient palace and the monastery. The Shey Palace was the residence of the royal family built in the 17th century. Also you can see the ruins of a fortress present above the palace. The Shey Monastery also has a three storey image of Buddha Sakyamuni made of copper gilt.

      Thiksey Monastery - Located on top of a hill, the monastery is an excellent example of Ladakhi architecture. This contains several stupas, statues, thangkas, wall paintings and a large pillar depicting Buddhaโ€™s teachings.

      Hemis Monastery - Built in 1630, this is the biggest and most famous monastery in Ladakh. It is at a distance of 49 kms from Leh and 30 kms from Thiksey.

      Post breakfast, check-out and we head for Khardungla Pass, which lies north of Leh and is the gateway to Shyok and Nubra valleys. It is the worldโ€™s highest motor able pass situated at an elevation of 17,852 ft. To most visitors, going across the Khardungla pass gives the satisfaction of having triumphed over the un-conquerable. On arrival, check-in at Hotel / Luxury Camp. Dinner and overnight in Nubra.

      Post breakfast, visit Nubra valley. Visit Hunder. Explore the nomadic villages, meet Tribes. Back to Camp / Hotel by afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Nubra.

      After an early breakfast, check-out and visit Deskit monastery. Then drive back to Leh, upon arrival proceed for sightseeing. Visit the Shey Palace and Shey Monastery; the Gompa (the local term used to refer to monastery) complex are structures located on a hillock in Shey. Hemis Monastery, situated 45 kms from Leh. It was re-established by King Sengge Namgyal in 1672. Thiksey Monastery, built on top of a hill. It has a striking resemblance to the Lhasas Potala Palace. The monastery is affiliated with the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It exhibits a gold-plated statue of Lord Buddha, called the Maitreya Buddha, which is the largest statue in Ladakh. It houses around 120 monks. Also visit Sindhu Ghat. Post sightseeing check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Leh.

      After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Pangong Lake on the Indo China border. On your way, you will cross Changla Pass, the third highest motor able road in the world. Pangong Lake is a picturesque lake which is one of the major draws of the Leh-Ladakh valley. It is a popular location of several film shootings and known for its pristine waters surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains. We will then drive back to Leh, and have the rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight in Leh.
