      Arrive in Kunming, known as โ€œThe City of Eternal Springโ€. Pick up from airport and transfer to the hotel (Chinese speaking driver only for this transfer).

  • Day 2 Day 2: Kunming -Jianshui (B/-/-)

      Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Jianshui (4hrs) which located in south part of Yunnan about 220km far from Kunming. Enjoys the fame of an ancient cultural city and important gateway.

      Take a stop at Xinmeng Village of Tonghai the only Mongolian Villages in Yunnan province. After arrival, discover the 2nd largest Confucius Temple in China --Confucius Temple set in a magnificent site with its glistening glazed tile roof. And visit Family Zhuโ€™s Garden( It was build by Zhuchaoying and his brother in the late Qing Dynasty. The complex has a total area of 20, 000 square meters. With the well - arranged yards and well-furnished rooms and halls, the structure of the architecture can be described as โ€™โ€™streamlinedโ€™โ€™ it enjoys the fame โ€™โ€™the Daguan Garden at a Border Townโ€™โ€™. Later stroll in the Old area of Jianshui to see the difference types of Old Wells in Jianshui and the Doufu workshop how to use the water for well to make the famous snack --Doufu.

      Today,  take one way sightseeing train about 2hrs  to Tuanshan village go through by the 12.82km of narrow-gauge railway. ( soft class seat )  Enjoy the view of field,village on the way. And have a stop at Twin Dragon Bridge to take the picture, which is a 17-hole bridge with 148 meters long, 3-8 meters wide.  

      Then take off the train,make a tour of Tuanshan Village The village has preserved a great number of ancient and traditional architectures. Most of the houses are made of clay walls and tile roofs. The entrance to it is a watchtower on which embrasures can be easily seen. Exploring into the houses, one can find there are lots of ages-old wood carvings on the doors and windows as special decorations.

      After the tour, continue the journey to Yuanyang ( 3hrs ) which is located at 2000 meters above sea level and the entire mountains here are sculpted with terrace-field commonly called the ladder of the sky.

      Gets up early in the morning to enjoy the Sunrise view of Terrace field at Duoyi village Later stroll in the local market to see the locals dressed with their colorful folk costume do shopping and bargaining at the market.

      Afterward move to visit Qingkou Hani Village where there is a small culture museum of Hanni people. Enjoy your leisure time stroll along the train of the fields. To watch how the local people farming the fields by their traditional way.  In the later afternoon transfer to Tiger Mouth (Laohuzui ) where is the best to palace of Yuanyang to take picture of terrace fields under the sunset.

      Breakfast at hotel. Further the journey to Naigu Stone Forest ( 5hrs -6hrs on the way ) โ€œ Naigu โ€œin the Yi language means old and black. It covers an area of 7.83 square kilometers with the characteristics of magnificence, roughness , primitiveness and simpleness. Seen from outside , the forest resembles an ancient battle field , mysterious. However go inside , it looks like a place luxurious and solemn

      In the morning, transfer to visit Nuohei Yi Village . The villagers inhabited here is Sani people, a branch of Yi nationality. Nuohei come from Yi language means  "monkey pond" The village nestles among mounts and lakes. Itโ€™s a world of stones, composed of roads paved with polished stones, slate houses, rocky mounts and Karst lakes. Villagers had been using limestone to build their houses for centuries and hundreds of old houses, which have a history of more than a hundred years, are still well preserved in the village today.

      Afterward, transfer back to Kunming  railway station (2hrs) for taking the high speed train to Anshun G2880 (15:46-17:35)

      In the morning, visit Tianlong Old Han village people here wear clothes in the style of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and speak the language used during that period. Itโ€™s not a show but real life. Tianlong Town is the only place in China that maintains the living customs of the Ming Dynasty. All the houses were made of stone and complicated hidden tunnels and exits were built.  Moreover, you could enjoy a Chinese traditional local opera called "Dixi" which is only found in Guizhou as your optional choice.

      Later drive to Guiyang (1.5hrs).the capital of Guizhou province.

      Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Kaili(2.5h). Kaili is the capital city of the Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Southeast Guizhou, and also the base of southeast Guizhouโ€™s ethnic culture tour.

      Take a tour of Kaili Museum, where you can get general impression of the region and Miao and Dongโ€™s classification, costume and life style.  And visit the Qingman Short-Skirt Miao Village The villages themselves are built into the hillside and words can not describe the site. You will be greeted into the village by drinking the block-way wine when you are going to visit the Qingman Short-skirt Miao Village.They are warm and fascinating people. Their costumes are rich with silver and hand embroidery and embellishment. Explore the village by visiting the local families.

      In the morning,move to visit Xijiang Miao Village, also named โ€™Chinaโ€™s Miao stockade village of one thousand householdsโ€™, is supposed to be the largest Miao Village in China. Researchers believe the village is the โ€™living fossilโ€™ to study Miao ethic minorityโ€™s history and traditional culture.  Senior Miao women wear their long dark hair coiled up in neat buns on the top of their heads while the younger Miao women prefer to adorn them with large colorful plastic or bone combs and pretty flowers. Each woman has her traditional clothing, head dress and other jeweler which is worn at special festivals throughout the year.

      After the tour, transfer back to Guiyang (2.5hrs ) Visit the Jiaxiu pavillion it was built in587 during the Qing Dynasty. This three-stored tower is considered to be the symbol of Guiyang. Service ends, you will take the flight (own tickets) the next day. ( No guide and transfer service the next day).
