  • Day 1 Transfer From Kigali, Rwanda To Bwindi National Park
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Transfer From Kigali, Rwanda To Bwindi National Park

      Our representative will pick you up in Kigali and drive you to Bwindi National Park. The drive to Uganda will go through Rwandaโ€™s northern town of Ruhengeri. You will then cross into Uganda via the Cyanika or Katuna border post. The trip continues through the nearby Kisoro or Kabale town and finally to Bwindi National Park. The journey from Kigali to Bwindi National Park will take approximately 4-5 hrs. Arriving at Bwindi National Park in the early afternoon will allow you to do optional activities such as hiking, visiting the Batwa community, coffee-making experience, etc.

  • Day 2 Gorilla Trekking At Bwindi National Park
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Gorilla Trekking At Bwindi National Park

      You will head to the Bwindi National Park gate immediately after breakfast to get a briefing about the gorilla trek. The national park guide will conduct a presentation that covers the basics of what to expect during the gorilla trek. The national guide will assign the gorilla trekking group during the pre-trekking briefing. Other visitors will likely join you. The gorilla trek can take from a few to many hours, depending on how far the gorillas are inside the forest. 

      Note: Depending on the availability of gorilla trekking permits, we might suggest trekking the gorillas at Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

  • Day 3 Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park For Kazinga Channel Boat Trip

      Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park For Kazinga Channel Boat Trip

      We will start the journey in the morning from Bwindi National Park and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The tour will take you through the stunning landscapes of western Uganda. You will arrive at northern Queen Elizabeth National Park in the late afternoon.

      Kazinga Channel boat trip

      Join the Kazinga channel boat cruise in the afternoon for a wild game viewing. You will spot crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and bird species on the channel waters.

  • Day 4 Chimpanzee Trekking At Kalinzu Forest Reserve And Drive Back To Kigali

      Chimpanzee Trekking At Kalinzu Forest Reserve And Drive Back To Kigali

      After breakfast, we will drive to the Kalinzu forest to trek the chimpanzees in their forest home. If you are lucky on the trek, you might encounter other species of monkeys in the Kalinzu forest. These include colobus monkeys, olive baboons, and red-tailed monkeys. Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe after the chimp trek. It is also possible to drive to Kigali, Rwanda, after the chimpanzee trek at Kalinzu forest.
