      This scenic mountain wilderness, home to floral endemics and endangered species, is a hikerโ€™s paradise, experience the thrill of gliding through the forest canopy within Malolotja Nature Reserve, the last mountain wilderness area in Swaziland. The canopy tour offers views of towering cliff faces and across the forest.

      This the oldest mine in the world enjoy guided walks in the mine and discover secrete underground hidden trails, place is a equipped with expert guides and paths are well paved off.Ngwenya mine which is the oldest mine in the world. We will join a guided tour into the Lion Cavern, the oldest part of this mine. The walk up to the cavern is quite steep yet wellmaintained with stepped walkways over rocky sections. Afterwards there is the chance to visit Ngwenya glass factory to see recycled glass being created into glass sculptures.

      The Umhlanga Reed Dance is a traditional dance and ceremony where up to 40 000 Swazi maidens gather and dance for the Queen Mother. This Swazi cultural event is performed as a  tribute to the Royal Family and dates back centuries in time. Taking place over a week, normally the last in August, it is largely private, however its final two public days (normally a Sunday and Monday) are a spectacle that is unrivalled in Africa today. Thousands upon thousands of maidens dress up in brightly coloured attire and sing, dance together as they deliver the reed or umlanga to the Royal Residence.  Their enjoyment of this ceremony is quite apparent as they use the opportunity of bonding with girls of similar ages from across the country.

      Up early for a morning safari to make sure that we get to see the lion and elephants. We then visit Shewula Mountain Camp which is the first community eco-tourism project in Swaziland and one of the most successful in the whole of southern Africa. The camp is fully owned and run by the community, meaning that all profits are shared by the community in an effort to continually develop and improve this traditionally impoverished area. Arrive in time for an educational walk amongst the community where you will learn about life in Shewula and be shown into peopleโ€™s homes. The Shewula community is a friendly agricultural people, with traditional thatch and stone houses dotted neatly among fields of maize cotton and vegetables. They encourage visitors to their area to enjoy the incredible view, gain an insight into traditional Swazi lifestyles. Have lunch on the escarpment looking over the Lubumbo Conservancy and the view here is incredible. This is a traditional lunch cooked by the ladies of the camp and you can taste delicious, genuine Swazi food.

      The river itself is Swazilandโ€™s largest watercourse and its waters are navigable by raft or canoe for most months of the year, although huge crocodiles are known to frequent the long pools between rapids. Sandy beaches occur at frequent intervals. The major vegetation types include mixed forests and woodlands, including bushveld. The Mowane gorge in this area is also a sacred site in Swazi culture.

The camp is a vital source of income and employment for the community and is a proud achievement for all. be enamored with the cultural music and dance, dazzled by the gorgeous sunsets, relaxed by the spectacular nature walks, and challenged by a mountain bike trip around the plateau.

      King sobhuza 11 memorial park

      This National museum is an amazing cultural experience. This magical time capsule of history is located in the Royal Area next to the Houses of Parliament, just off the Mbabane Manzini highway in Lobamba. The museum is named after the beloved King Sobhuza who led Swaziland to their long awaited independence in 1968. Showing the origins of the Swazi culture, an introduction to their history, routines and traditional wear, it truly is an experience you will never forget.
