      After your arrival at the airport in Fort de France, transfer to the hotel in Les Trois-รŽlets.

      The road to the tropical north takes you through the tropical forest with its tree ferns and giant bamboos to the Sacrรฉ Coeur church of Balata, a miniature copy of the Basilica of Montmartre in Paris. Then visit the botanical garden with plants from all over the world. After lunch, drive to the Caribbean coast to Saint Pierre. The city was completely destroyed by a volcanic eruption in 1902. You will see the ruins of the former theater and visit the volcanological museum. The return route leads along the Caribbean coast via Le Carbet and Case Pilote. F/M

      Along the coastal route Route des Anse (Road of Bays): Anse ร  lโ€™Ane, Grande Anse, Anse dโ€™Arlet, numerous different and interesting landscapes are crossed. Photo stop at the famous Diamond Rock and the Slave Monument. Afterwards, a visit to the Domaine de la Pagerie near Trois-รŽlets, where Napoleonโ€™s wife Josephine lived. Continue to the village of Le Franรงois to the Clรฉment estate, an old colonial-style mansion from the 18th century, picturesquely located on a plantation. Visit to the orchard and the in-house rum museum. Afterwards you will visit the manor house with its original furniture from the 18th century. Now we go past sugar cane fields and banana plantations via Sainte Anne to one of the most beautiful beaches in Martinique: Grande Anse des Salines. After lunch there is time to swim in the turquoise water or take a siesta under the palm trees. F/M

      Drive to the port of Fort-de-France. Approximately two-hour ferry crossing to Dominica. Transfer to the hotel in Roseau. F

      The route leads to the Botanical Gardens, the Roseau Valley and through the lush green hinterland of Roseau with numerous mountains and panoramic views to Laudat. Short walk to Ti Tou Gorge, one of the islandโ€™s unique wonders. You can swim between steep rock faces to a small waterfall. The distance that has to be covered by swimming is approx. 55 m, but there are plenty of rocky ledges everywhere where you can rest in between. This gorge was formed many thousands of years ago and the waterfall is fed with water from Freshwater Lake. Continue to the impressive Trafalgar Falls, from where we can take a short walk and marvel at the power of the cascading water. The afternoon is at your leisure. F



  • Day 7 Roseau - Scottโ€™S Head - Roseau

      Today you drive along the coast through picturesque villages to the southernmost town on the island, Scottโ€™s Head, where the Atlantic and Caribbean Sea meet. Along the way there is the opportunity to snorkel among volcanic bubbles at Champagne Reef, one of Dominicaโ€™s most enchanting diving locations. This bay got its name from the legendary volcanic air bubbles that rise from underground fumaroles. Then climb to the summit of Scottโ€™s Head Peninsula for unparalleled sea and island views. The afternoon is at your leisure. F

      Through the Antrim Valley we head to the famous Emerald Pool, one of Dominicaโ€™s many waterfalls in the Morne Trois Piton National Park. After a short walk through the rainforest you reach the waterfall, which owes its name to the unique reflection of the greenery of the surrounding vegetation and invites you to take a refreshing swim. Continue to the Kalinago indigenous village on the Atlantic coast, better known as the Carib Indian Village. Dominica is the only island in the Caribbean where the indigenous people survived thanks to the islandโ€™s topography and dense forest cover, where they were able to retreat and make their way to the east coast, which was inaccessible to ships. The Kalinago still live here today, but now in their own community, the โ€œCarib Reserveโ€, a territory specially allocated to them by the government. You will learn interesting facts about the history, culture and the crafts that the residents still practice today. You will then learn how traditional cassava bread is made. On the return journey to Roseau you can expect stunning views over the island. F/M



  • Day 9 Dominica - Guadeloupe

      In the morning, visit Roseau with the opportunity to go shopping. Afterwards you leave Dominica. The ferry takes you to the island of Guadeloupe in about two hours. Transfer from the port to your hotel directly on the beach at Le Gosier. F



  • Day 10 Le Gosier - Chute Du Carbet - Le Gosier

      Le Gosier - Chute Du Carbet - Le Gosier

      City tour of Pointe-ร -Pitre with a visit to the spice and flower market and the Church of St. Pierre & St. Paul. Continue to the Basse Terre half of the island to the Carbet Waterfalls - the highest waterfalls in the Lesser Antilles. On the way stop at the Hindu temple of Changy. After slavery was abolished, cheap labor was needed. Thatโ€™s why Indians were recruited back then, whose descendants still live here today and have preserved their culture. Walk into the heart of the tropical forest near the 110 m high second waterfall. Return to the hotel with a photo stop at the Allรฉe Dumanoir, a 2 km long avenue of royal palms, and at the Columbus Monument. The anchor of the ship on which he discovered the Caribbean islands is on display here. Afterwards, relax at your hotelโ€™s pool or beach. F

      Past endless sugar cane plantations, drive to the north of Grande Terre with a photo stop at the Creole terraced cemetery. Continue to the impressive cliffs of the Pointe de la Grande Vigie and the "Gates of Hell". We continue south to the Pointe des Chรขteaux, where the jagged rocks rise out of the sea like castle towers. From the viewpoint on a hill you have a beautiful view of the neighboring islands. On the way back we stopped for a swim at a beautiful sandy beach. F/M

      Today you will visit the green half of the island of Basse Terre again. In the zoological garden in the middle of the tropical forest you can see many animals from the Antilles and walk on suspension bridges through the treetops. Along the paths through the lush vegetation you can spot iguanas, turtles, parrots and raccoons. Continue to the black volcanic sand beach of Malendure and take a glass-bottom boat ride to observe the underwater world of the Cousteau Marine Reserve. After a swim stop at La Perle beach, return to the hotel. F/M
