If you booked your flights through ASI Reisen, you will be picked up at Naples airport by a representative of ASI Reisen: Since you will be traveling on different planes, there may be some waiting time. Please look for the ASI welcome sign with our logo. Afterwards, travel by taxi/bus and ship to Ischia.

      Flight to Naples. If you book the flight through ASI Reisen, you will be picked up at the airport by an ASI representative and taken to the port (approx. 30 min), where we will board the ship to Ischia. There we will also be picked up again and brought to the hotel.

      Day 2: Through Volcanic Landscapes To Ischia Porto

      Today our hiking guide welcomes us at 09:00 after breakfast and introduces us to our hiking week. Afterwards we will drive to the crater Fondo dโ€™Oglio, where we will start our first hike. From here we will cross a pine forest and reach the green covered crater Arso, whose last eruption was more than 700 years ago, via a viewpoint that opens up the whole Gulf of Naples. In Ischia Porto we have time to stroll through the alleys.

      Above a chestnut forest, at Cretaio, we start our hike today. The first part leads us to the Buceto spring, one of the few drinking water sources on the island. The trail continues through Buttavento and Buonopane - famous for its special country bread - to the Nitrodi spring, whose waters are said to have therapeutic properties. Those who like can take a shower themselves in this healing water.

      Our hike starts today above chestnut beach. We reach the church of Montevergine via a slightly uphill path. From here we hike through the Scarrupata mountain canyon up to the village of Piano Liguori. Our hike ends here, in one of the most beautiful mountain villages on the island.

      Today we will hike to the prominent panoramic mountain of the island. We reach Epomeo, Ischiaโ€™s highest mountain (789 m) through an acacia forest. Here, with breathtaking views, we can enjoy the best bruschetta on the island and homemade wine. The descent leads down towards Serrara.
