Flight to Faro and back Price examples from/to Frankfurt Airport. Prices are based on limited available airline fares. Surcharges are possible at any time. Other departure airports can be selected. If you booked your flights through ASI Reisen, you will be picked up at Faro airport by a representative of ASI Reisen: Please turn left at the exit after baggage claim and head straight ahead for about 200m to the TUI information desk, where you will also see the ASI welcome sign. There you will be met and taken to the pick-up point. Since you will be arriving with different planes, there may be some waiting time. Afterwards bus or cab ride to our hotel (approx. 60 min.).

      Day 1: Welcome To The Algarve

      Flight to Faro. If you book your flight through ASI Reisen, you will be picked up at the airport by an ASI representative and driven to our hotel.

      In the evening, welcome by the ASI mountain guide and get to know each other over a welcome drink. General information about the upcoming ASI vacation week.

      Day 2: Lagos And The Sailors

      After climbing to the Atalaia (109 m), you always walk above many small bays along the coast, which is very torn here. Rock towers and arches rise from the azure Atlantic to the bizarre Ponta da Piedade. We end our hike with a swim on one of the beautiful beaches. After dinner, weโ€™ll visit Lagos.

      Day 3: The Natural Paradise

      The road winds its way up to the Serra de Monchique through the valley of the Boina along terraced fields. The nature trail to Picota (773 m), the mountain with the wonderfully cool water, starts just below the village. It goes past small farms through cork oak and eucalyptus forests to the summit shaped by large granite blocks.

      Day 4: Silves And The Moors

      Drive to Serra do Caldeirรฃo. Hike through stony mountains with olive and almond plantations to Rocha dos Soรญdos (456 m). Lunch in the typical mountain village of Alte. A stream flows through the village that irrigates a narrow valley with orange, fig and pomegranate trees. After that, a visit to Silves, which was of great importance under the Moors as a capital, is on the agenda.

      Day 5: Atlantic And Sea Of Flowers

      Along the west coast through the Serra de Espinhaรงo de Cรฃo to Aljezur with its old castelo. The hike starts above a wide river valley and takes us through a blooming dune landscape to the cliffs near Monte Clรฉrigo, where anglers try their luck in the roaring surf.

      Day 6: The Serra De Monchique

      From Monchique up to Fรณia (902 m โ€” the highest mountain in the Algarve). The Algarve is at our feet. Accompanied by lavender, eucalyptus and cistus scents, the view sweeps across the mountain and hilly landscape of the Serra de Monchique to the west coast and far into the hinterland. Descent through the mountain and hilly landscape of the Serra de Monchique to Marmelete.

      Day 7: At The Cliff

      Start the hike at Algar Seco, a bizarre rock formation near Carvoeiro. The impressive cliffs, some of which are 50 m high, are characterized by deep cuts. We look into deserted bays that can often only be reached from the sea. If you like, you can cool down after hiking in the Atlantic waves.
