    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Arrival In Arusha Tanzania

You will be met by your safari coordinator on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport in Kisongo. You will be transferred to Masailand Safari and Lodge for a briefing for the safari and evening relaxation with an overnight stay. Accommodation will be on a bed and breakfast basis.

  • Day 2 Tarangire National Park
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up and your safari will commence. It will take 2 hours to drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is spectacular in any season and many of the migratory wildlife species can be found at the permanent waters of Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeests, zebras, elephants, elands and oryx gather until the onset of the rain when they migrate again to good grazing areas. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Manyara Safari Lodge on a full-board basis.

  • Day 3 Serengeti National Park
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Serengeti National Park

You will drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, which takes between 3 and 4 hours. Olduvai George is an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti plains, where early human fossils were first discovered. It has the amazing landscape that earned it the Maasai name Serengeti, endless plains. In the evening, you will enjoy a game drive in the Serengeti. Again this is a great time to view the game, particularly the carnivores as this is their favorite time to hunt. Before dark, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Into Wild Africa Camp on a full-board basis.

  • Day 4 Central - Serengeti National Park
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Central - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will venture out to the Serengetiโ€™s watering holes, hippo pools and other sites of interest in a full-day game drive. At midday, you will partake in a picnic lunch while enjoying the vastness of the Serengeti, with the largest concentration of plain game on earth. In the late evening, you will return to the camp for rest, dinner and an overnight stay at Into Wild Africa Camp on a full board basis.

  • Day 5 Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will begin your day with a morning game drive in the Serengeti, and then later in the afternoon drive to Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge. Once at the craterโ€™s rim, youโ€™ll get some rest and dinner. Youโ€™ll have an overnight stay at Rhino Lodge where you will spend the night on a full board basis.

  • Day 6 Ngorongoro Crater
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will drive down to Ngorongoro Crater and enjoy a full-day game drive. This is undoubtedly one of the best places to see the rare black rhinos in Africa, not to mention the pride of lions and the magnificent black-manned lions. There are lots of colourful flamingos and a variety of water birds. In the crater, you are also likely to see leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, many members of the antelope family, and small mammals of all sorts. In the late afternoon, you will drive onward to Karatu town where you can settle in for dinner and an overnight stay at Octagon Lodge on a full board basis.

  • Day 7 Ngorongoro - Lake Eyasi
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Ngorongoro - Lake Eyasi

After a well-prepared breakfast, you will begin your drive to Lake Eyasi. Here you will see a great variety of birdlife along the shore of this beautiful lake, and the location alone makes it a great place to spend a couple of nights. The meadows along the shore are home to a wide variety of wildlife including the elusive leopard, hippos, a variety of monkeys, and most importantly a host of both greater and lesser flamingos. Several very pleasant private lodges and tented camps are located in the forest clearings by the lake; these provide great accommodation and are made as much as possible from local materials. You will visit the Hadzabe tribes and the Datonga and learn about their traditional life as hunters and gatherers. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge on a full-board basis.

  • Day 8 Lake Manyara - Arusha
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Lake Manyara - Arusha

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will drive from Lake Eyasi to Lake Manyara National Park. This takes approximately 2 hours before entering the park. Frequently seen in Lake Manyara National Park are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and warthogs among many others. In the mid-afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha and be dropped off at the airport.
