Your desire of Expedition Safari of Northern Tanzania Safari begins upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be met by our representative and be transferred to hotel for overnight stay on bed and breakfast. Arusha Serena Lodge is unlike any other lodge in Tanzania with authentic, bespoke experiences that stir the traveler’s soul while showcasing the breathtaking tranquility of the surroundings. Set among the woodland slopes of Mount Meru at the edge of Lake Duluti, there’s no better destination for soaking in the beauty and magnificence of the Tanzanian “Northern Safari Circuit.”

Day 2 Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park.

After breakfast depart to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch for game drive. Enjoy your picnic lunch and game viewing; in the evening proceed to the camp for overnight stay at your Camp on full board. Tarangire National Park is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania, it is located in Manyara Region. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. The Tarangire River is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season.

After breakfast, our safari takes us to Lake Manyara National park with picnic lunch for game drive. Enjoy the game viewing of the tree climbing lions within the park. In the evening proceed to the lodge for overnight stay on full board. This small but uniquely diverse national park is a wonderful introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife and is also home to the world famous, but rarely seen, tree climbing lions.

Day 4 Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart to Serengeti National Park in 4 X 4 Toyota Land Cruiser with picnic lunch. Enjoy your lunch and afternoon embark on the game drive within Serengeti National Park. Then proceed to the camp for overnight stay at on full board basis. Serengeti - the very name fires the imagination and is derived from the Maasai language meaning "endless plains". The Serengeti offers the greatest concentration of plains animals in Africa. More than two million wildebeest, half a million Thompson’s gazelles and a quarter million zebra gather for annual migrations, attracting a great deal of predator attention from lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena. Your days are filled with game viewing activities, morning and afternoon, when the animals are most active.

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the spectacular Serengeti. Negotiating roads and tracks, your guide slowly transports you to a world of unrivaled scenic splendor, revealing sights and sounds of astonishing realism. A lion relaxing, temporarily satiated after its morning hunt, contented elephant carefully guarding their young as they traverse the bush, a startled warthog running with tail erect, the ungainly and seemingly endless herds of wildebeest quietly munching grass in company with the zebra - these are some the images you will collect and preserve. Return to the camp for breakfast and some time to rest before the afternoon game drive, which ends just before dusk. At the end of the day return to the familiar surroundings of the camp, pleasantly tired but brimming with enthusiasm about your experiences during the day, indulge in the luxury of a hot shower before dinner.

Day 6 Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After breakfast depart Ngorongoro Conservation Area en-route game drive with picnic lunch via Oldupai Gorge. In the afternoon proceed to the lodge and overnight stay at lodge on full board basis. Tanzania’s prehistoric Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the Eighth Wonder of the World, has yawned heavenward for millennia. Deep within its immense walls is a breath-taking blue-green landscape dotted with plains, lakes and forests; an eerie, otherworldly “land that time forgot” thick with massive bull elephants, rhinos, wildebeests and the highest concentration of lions in Africa.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge

Day 7 Day 7: Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

On this day you will depart to Africa’s Eden for tours of Ngorongoro Crater. The Crater is a famous for its Big Five and home to rare Black Rhino and has its own Soda Lake. Descend 2,200 feet for a thrilling day among Africa’s Big Five Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Black Rhino and Leopard, before returning to the lodge later in the afternoon. In the evening have dinner and overnight stay at Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp on full board basis.
