Logistics & notes DEPARTURE & ARRIVAL: We will leave our accommodation in Cancรบn on Day 2 morning and arrive in Playa del Carmen on Day 8 afternoon. AIRPORT TRANSFERS: This tour doesnโ€™t include airport transfers. Cancรบn International Airport is just 19 km away from the center of the city and is easily accessible by both taxis and public transport. Cancรบn International Airport is 55.4 km away from the center of Playa del Carmen and is also easily accessible by taxis or bus in Playa del Carmen station. ACCOMMODATIONS: You will receive a list of accommodations together with trip notes 2 weeks before the tour. Most accommodations are centrally located, tourist-class, locally-owned properties with private facilities in each room (unless otherwise specified in the itinerary). We can arrange pre- & post-tour accommodations but not earlier than 2 weeks before the departure when we send you final trip notes. ROOM TYPES: Shared Twin Room: Single bed in a twin room shared with another co-traveler of the same gender. This option is specifically designed for solo travelers and applies just to group departures. Double/Twin Room: Private room for 2 people. You can choose between 1 double bed or 2 single beds. Triple Room: Private room for 3 people. It normally has 1 double bed for 2 people and 1 single bed for 1 person. Quad Room: Private room for 4 people. It normally has 2 double beds for 2 people each. TRANSPORT: The type of vehicle depends on the size of the group and may involve a car, 7-seater, or minivan. Inside urban areas, walking is the most common way of transportation. FOOD: Meals and Gastronomic Experiences included in this tour can normally meet most of the common dietary restrictions. However, due to the active program of the tour and different menus in each place, satisfying a special diet or food preferences of a particular traveler will depend on circumstances and cannot be fully guaranteed. PHYSICAL CONDITION: This tour involves a decent amount of walking & hiking. Therefore, travelers should have at least moderate physical fitness condition. AGE: Due to required physical condition, the recommended age of participants in this tour is 12-69 years. However, potential participants outside of the above-mentioned age group can still participate upon request if (1) they are in a good physical condition (2) that will allow them to cope with the pace of the group tour. ACTIVITIES: Participation in all activities is optional - just be sure to be in time for daily departures. Most of the included activities such as walking tours (>2h, normally in historic centers of bigger cities), orientation walks ( VISA: All foreign visitors, regardless of their nationality, traveling to Mexico for tourism, business, or in transit to another destination, are exempt from presenting a Mexican visa as long as they have a valid visa issued by any of the following countries: Canada, Japan, the United States of America, the United Kingdom or any of the countries comprising the Schengen Area (for more info check this official website: https://consulmex.sre.gob.mx/toronto/index.php/en/servicesforeigners/doclegalization/52-conservices/225-visitors-who-do-not-require-a-visa-with-a-stay-up-to-180-days). GROUP VS. PRIVATE: Our multi-day tours offer both group and private departures (see pricing at checkout). Group tour - take a scheduled trip with other travelers. Private tour - take a trip on your own, with friends or family. Private tours are customizable (you can depart any day and we can add additional stops & activities on your request) and thus may cost more than group tours. PRICING: The price of the tour/person depends on the number of travelers and the room/tour option you choose.

Understanding continuously present risks associated with COVID-19 pandemics and willing to keep both travelers & our team healthy, Vibe Adventures introduced internal health & safety guidelines that are enforced on all our tours until such measures are lifted by authorities of each destination and/or pandemic situation gets completely resolved worldwide. Those guidelines are based on official recommendations & protocols from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) and among others include the following measures: Education & Training : โ— regular training & education of the staff (Tour Leaders, drivers, crew) and suppliers (accomodations, restaurants, experience providers, etc.) on the importance of COVID-related health & safety measures; โ— promotion of the importance of hand hygiene & other COVID-related health & safety measures to travelers through signage, oral instructions and online materials; โ— contracting only suppliers that responsibly implement COVID-related health & safety protocols recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and local authorities. Arrive at your accommodation in Los Mochis at any time and explore this tranquil and beautiful place, also known as the getaway to Copper Canyon. In the evening, join your Tour Leader and the rest for a welcome dinner in one of the local restaurants.

      In the morning, transfer to Topolobampo to take a boat tour to explore the stunning bay and enjoy different activities such as bird watching and have the chance to meet Pechocho, the gorgeous and friendly dolphin that lives there. If you have some luck, you will be able to touch him and play with him from your boat. Once finished, transfer to El Fuerte and learn about the history of this little town that is shown in the Museum. Also, admire the Fuerte River from the rooftop and enjoy one of the most amazing views of this place. In the afternoon, arrive at your accommodation and take your time to relax or continue exploring this beautiful place. Later, join your Tour Leader and the rest of the group for an orientation walk of the town and have an optional dinner in one of the local restaurants.

Arrive at Bahuichivo in the afternoon and then, transfer to your accommodation in Cerocahui, a small town in Chihuahua internationally recognized for being one of the main places for the Holy Week festivities of the Tarahumara ethnic groups. After that, join your Tour Leader and the rest of the group for an orientation walk.

      Continue your tour by going to Copper Canyon Adventure Park to explore this beautiful place and do some optional activities like zip lining, zip riding, hiking, via Ferrata, and so on. There, take a cable car to enjoy amazing views of the canyon from above. After that, transfer to your accommodation in Creel, a mysterious place in the heart of the Sierra Tarahumara. On the way, stop at the Oteros River to meet local Tarahumara people, learn about their culture, and see their dwellings in caves. Once at your accommodation in Creel, take your time to rest. Later, join your Tour Leader and your group for an orientation walk of the Historic Center and an optional dinner in one of the local restaurants.

      In the morning, visit Sierra Tarahumara to explore its various valleys. Start with the "Valle de las Ranas" with its multiple centuries-old frog-shaped rocks. Then, transfer to "Valle de Los Hongos", known for its enormous boulders resembling mushrooms. After that, visit the mystical "Valle de Los Monjes" to see even more fascinating rock formations. Some claim that you can feel the monksโ€™ gaze here. Later, head to a hanging bridge in San Juanito and opt to cross it or just stay on the ground to admire the beautiful surroundings. Last but not least, visit Basaseachic Falls National Park and take a guided hike to discover one of the highest waterfalls in Mexico.

Once a wealthy colonial mining town, itโ€™s the capital and largest city of the same-named state nowadays. Once there, join your Tour Leader for a walking tour of the cityโ€™s Historic Center.
