Logistics & notes DEPARTURE & ARRIVAL: We will leave our accommodation in Cancรบn on Day 2 morning and arrive in Playa del Carmen on Day 8 afternoon. AIRPORT TRANSFERS: This tour doesnโt include airport transfers. Cancรบn International Airport is just 19 km away from the center of the city and is easily accessible by both taxis and public transport. Cancรบn International Airport is 55.4 km away from the center of Playa del Carmen and is also easily accessible by taxis or bus in Playa del Carmen station. ACCOMMODATIONS: You will receive a list of accommodations together with trip notes 2 weeks before the tour. Most accommodations are centrally located, tourist-class, locally-owned properties with private facilities in each room (unless otherwise specified in the itinerary). We can arrange pre- & post-tour accommodations but not earlier than 2 weeks before the departure when we send you final trip notes. ROOM TYPES: Shared Twin Room: Single bed in a twin room shared with another co-traveler of the same gender. This option is specifically designed for solo travelers and applies just to group departures. Double/Twin Room: Private room for 2 people. You can choose between 1 double bed or 2 single beds. Triple Room: Private room for 3 people. It normally has 1 double bed for 2 people and 1 single bed for 1 person. Quad Room: Private room for 4 people. It normally has 2 double beds for 2 people each. TRANSPORT: The type of vehicle depends on the size of the group and may involve a car, 7-seater, or minivan. Inside urban areas, walking is the most common way of transportation. FOOD: Meals and Gastronomic Experiences included in this tour can normally meet most of the common dietary restrictions. However, due to the active program of the tour and different menus in each place, satisfying a special diet or food preferences of a particular traveler will depend on circumstances and cannot be fully guaranteed. PHYSICAL CONDITION: This tour involves a decent amount of walking & hiking. Therefore, travelers should have at least moderate physical fitness condition. AGE: Due to required physical condition, the recommended age of participants in this tour is 12-69 years. However, potential participants outside of the above-mentioned age group can still participate upon request if (1) they are in a good physical condition (2) that will allow them to cope with the pace of the group tour. ACTIVITIES: Participation in all activities is optional - just be sure to be in time for daily departures. Most of the included activities such as walking tours (>2h, normally in historic centers of bigger cities), orientation walks ( VISA: All foreign visitors, regardless of their nationality, traveling to Mexico for tourism, business, or in transit to another destination, are exempt from presenting a Mexican visa as long as they have a valid visa issued by any of the following countries: Canada, Japan, the United States of America, the United Kingdom or any of the countries comprising the Schengen Area (for more info check this official website: https://consulmex.sre.gob.mx/toronto/index.php/en/servicesforeigners/doclegalization/52-conservices/225-visitors-who-do-not-require-a-visa-with-a-stay-up-to-180-days). WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU: Comfortable clothes & shoes; swimming suit & slippers/water shoes; a smaller backpack for daily tours; hat/cap, sunglasses & sunscreen; travel insurance; good mood & curiosity. GROUP VS. PRIVATE: Our multi-day tours offer both group and private departures (see pricing at checkout). Group tour - take a scheduled trip with other travelers. Private tour - take a trip on your own, with friends or family. Private tours are customizable (you can depart any day and we can add additional stops & activities on your request) and thus may cost more than group tours. PRICING: The price of the tour/person depends on the number of travelers and the room/tour option you choose.

Understanding continuously present risks associated with COVID-19 pandemics and willing to keep both travelers & our team healthy, Vibe Adventures introduced internal health & safety guidelines that are enforced on all our tours until such measures are lifted by authorities of each destination and/or pandemic situation gets completely resolved worldwide. Those guidelines are based on official recommendations & protocols from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) and among others include the following measures: Education & Training : โ regular training & education of the staff (Tour Leaders, drivers, crew) and suppliers (accomodations, restaurants, experience providers, etc.) on the importance of COVID-related health & safety measures; โ promotion of the importance of hand hygiene & other COVID-related health & safety measures to travelers through signage, oral instructions and online materials; โ contracting only suppliers that responsibly implement COVID-related health & safety protocols recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and local authorities. Hand Hygiene : โ mandatory application of antibacterial gel (70% alcohol) by everyone entering the vehicle that is used for transportation during the tour; โ implementing mandatory hand-hygiene policy that requires regular scheduled use of hand sanitizer and washing hands with soap by the staff during the tour, especially after touching objects in public areas (e.g. handrails, doors, money, mobile phones, etc.). Masks : โ mandatory use of a face masks or other protecting items (e.g. scarfs, kerchiefs or bandanas) covering nose, chin & mouth by both travelers & staff in all public areas (especially in confined environments such as public transport, shops, markets, museums, lobbies of hotels etc.); โ the use of the mask is not mandatory in private areas (e.g. hotel rooms) and while having meals & drinks. Sanitation : โ mandatory daily sanitation of the vehicles used for transportation of travellers by the staff especially of handles, doors, seats, and other frequently-touched surfaces; โ use of cleaning and disinfecting products that are approved by local & international health authorities; โ regular audit of our suppliers on their cleanliness & sanitation protocols. Physical distancing : โ mandatory social distance of at least 1.5 m (~5 feet) by both travelers & staff throughout the tour. Health assessments : โ mandatory daily health assessments of all travellers & staff (measuring the body temperature & oral questionnaire on COVID-related symptoms).
