We would like to clarify that this is NOT a group/ coach tour. The plan will be only for independent travel for your party. Although you may be joining groups for certain sightseeing activities (if mentioned in the itinerary) and for your walking tour, overall this is not a coach tour (in which everything is managed from airport to airport). Please note that for all sightseeings, the activity starts from a meeting point. You are expected to reach the meeting point on your own. We hope that is okay with you. Also the transfers from train station to hotel and vice versa are not included. For this purpose you can easily haul a cab. This way the need to manage bags on your own will be limited. Note: City Tax and Tourist Tax on hotels is excluded and must be paid at the time of check-in directly to the hotel. It varies from 2-4 EUR per person per night.

      Loch Ness, Glencoe & The Scottish Highlands Tour With Guide

      This morning after breakfast start your tour of Loch Ness, Glencoe & the Scottish Highlands. You start the tour by reaching the meeting point in Central Edinburgh on your own and from there a pickup will be available to start the tour. Begin by visiting the Callander and then head northwards over Rannoch Moor until you reach the dark, brooding Pass of Glencoe. You enjoy a little free time nearby the Fort William area, then follow the Caledonian Canal up the Great Glen to Loch Ness. Here, you have some free time with the option to cruise on the Loch, or if you donโ€™t want to take the cruise you can relax in one of the bars or restaurants in the tranquil village or on the pier. (the cruise is optional, payable to driver on the day directly).

      After Loch Ness you will head South East and take in magnificent views of Loch Laggan. On the way home, enjoy a refreshment stop in Pitlochry, a delightful Victorian resort town. Then, head south through Fife, and cross the Forth next to the amazing Forth Bridge, before arriving back in Edinburgh.

      Today you will go on a walking tour of Edinburgh. You start the trip by reaching the meeting point on your own. This tour works on tips and you are expected to tip between at least Euro 5 to 10 per person. On this 2.5-hour Edinburgh walking tour, you will see many of the top attractions in the city. Local experts will take you to must-see spots such as the iconic Royal Mile, the famous Greyfriars Kirkyard (the home of Greyfriar Bobby) and the charming grassmarket. Also explore the historic streets of Edinburgh with the help of the expert local guide.

      Next, youโ€™ll be visiting Edinburgh Castle. It was built in medieval times as a fortress and has been expanded over the centuries to become the iconic monument we know today. The Castle also overlooks the city from the summit of Castle Hill offering superb views of Edinburghโ€™s historic center. For this tour you will only be provided with the skip the line entry tickets but there is no guide. You will have to reach the Castle gates on your own and enter using your tickets. Then you will have the entire day to explore till closing time.

  • Day 4 Transfer To Glasgow

      This morning you will transfer to Glasgow from Edinburgh via train. The train tickets will be provided by us but you will have to manage the transfers from and to the train stations on your own. After reaching Glasgow, check in to your hotel.

      Today after breakfast Embark on a guided bus tour of Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, and Stirling Castle from Glasgow. Take in the views of the lush Scottish countryside and learn about William Wallace and Rob Roy from your driver. 

      You start the tour by reaching the meeting point in central Glasgow on your own and from there a pickup will be available to start the tour. 

      First, stop at the โ€˜bonnie banksโ€™ of Loch Lomond, which is one of the prettiest and largest lochs in the whole of Scotland. You can take a cruise and enjoy spectacular views of the lochโ€™s many islands and the surrounding mountains or you could take a stroll through the picturesque loch-side conservation village of Luss, with its quaint houses, cafes, and stunning views across the lochโ€™s western shoreline.

      Then continue through the Trossachs, Scotlandโ€™s first national park, known as โ€˜the Highlands in miniatureโ€™ for its abundance of lochs, mountains, and forests, and homeland of the legendary outlaw, Rob Roy MacGregor.

      Your final stop will be Stirling Castle, which sits high on volcanic rock and offers wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. Have time to visit the castle and learn of the exploits of key historic figures including William Wallace, Robert the Bruce, and Mary Queen of Scots. Then return back to your hotel. 

      Overnight in Glasgow.
