  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrival At The Chisinau International Airport And Check-In At The Hotel

      Day 1: Arrival At The Chisinau International Airport And Check-In At The Hotel

      On arrival at Chisinau International Airport, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Chisinau. After settling in, you can have a walk through downtown and explore the city centre on your own.

      Day 2: Shooting Lessons At The Sniping Club

      In the morning, you will enjoy a city tour of Chisinau which is the main administrative, scientific and cultural centre of Moldova. During the tour, you will discover pieces of history and culture of the city such as the Nativity of Christ Cathedral, the Bell Tower, the Arch of Triumph, the Monument of Stephen the Great, etc.  You will also have some time for shopping, and you can visit โ€œMihai Eminescuโ€ Theatre Square, where you will be amazed by the souvenir market.

      In the afternoon, you will have lunch at a local restaurant in Chisinau.

      After lunch, you will be transferred to Radeni, where you will have some shooting lessons at the Sniping Club. It is a large-scale complex with a great number of services, on which territory there are located five shooting fields for three main activities: practical shooting, trap shooting and high-precision firing (100 and 800 Meters).

      In the evening, you will be transferred to Asconi winery in Puhoi village, where you will enjoy an excursion, wine tasting and dinner. This is a family-owned winery, that achieved a lot due to modern wine making technologies. Nowadays at Asconi estate European varieties are grown, but special attention is paid to indigenous varieties such as Rara Neagra, Feteasca, etc. One of the features of Asconi winery is that they pick up the grapes mechanically at night when the grapes are still cold.

      Day 3: Kayaking On The Dniester River

      The day will begin with a transfer to Vadul lui Voda from where you will enjoy a kayaking tour on the Dniester River. The tour will start from Kayaking Tours base camp in Vadul lui Voda and will end in Corjova village.You will see a nice calm river, with very few people as you will be passing by only one village, but instead you will see lots of birds, cows, horses, and if you are lucky, even boars. You will also have a lunch break.

      After the tour, you will be transferred to the hotel in Chisinau, where you will enjoy some free time on your own.

      In the evening, you will travel to Castel Mimi winery in Bulboaca village, where you will enjoy an excursion, wine tasting and dinner. Castel Mimi is currently listed among the most beautiful architectural masterpieces in the world of wine. The story of the castle begins at the end of 1893, when Constantin Mimi, the last governor of Bessarabia, plants the first grape vines on the place that would become legend over the years.

      In the evening, you will be transferred to the hotel in Chisinau.

      Day 4: Discovery Of Orheiul Vechi โ€“ A 40-Thousand-Year-Old Natural Amphitheater

      You will start the journey by travelling from Chisinau to Furceni. The day will continue with a hike from Furceni to Butuceni (~16 km) following the itinerary: Furceni - Trebujeni โ€“ Butuceni. During the hiking trip from Trebujeni to Butuceni, you will discover Orheiul Vechi (Old Orhei) - a natural amphitheater revealing a territory which was first inhabited 40 000 years ago. The Cultural, Natural and Landscape Reserve Orheiul Vechi includes a series of historical and cultural monuments as well as natural landscapes in the gorge of the Raut River. Ancient fortifications, cave monasteries, monks and hermits โ€“ here you can follow the history of this region. The remnants of the first human settlements were found in the stone caverns from here. On the rocky hill, you will find the ruins of a strong Geto-Dacian fortification, which acted as a sanctuary for celebrating religious holidays and rituals in this prehistoric community. The originality of Orheiul Vechi landscape is due to the gorge of the Raut River, dug under the form of a canyon in the limestone layers of the former Sarmatian Sea, about 14 million years ago.

      In Butuceni village you will have a Moldovan traditional lunch at a local guesthouse.

      After lunch, you will be transferred to Cricova town, where you will enjoy a bike ride and wine tasting in the underground cellars of Cricova winery - the only wine enterprise that was awarded the highest state prize โ€œThe Order of the Republicโ€ and has been declared by law a national cultural heritage. During the excursion at Cricova winery, at a depth of 80 m, you will discover the wonders of this place. Cricova underground galleries are formed by over seventy streets covering an area of nearly 120 km, each bearing Bacchic names: Sauvignon, Cabernet, Cahors, etc. The jewel of the underground treasure is the National Collection, including over 600 types of wine totalling about 1 million bottles. Here you will admire the oldest bottle of wine - "Jewish Easter Wine", dating from 1902. In the evening, you will have a delicious dinner at โ€œRegatul Vinuluiโ€ restaurant of Cricova winery.

      In the evening, you will be transferred from Cricova to the hotel in Chisinau.

      Day 5: Departure

      On departure day, you will be transferred from the hotel to Chisinau International Airport. If your flight is in the afternoon, you will have the option to explore Chisinau for a while on your own in the morning and buy some souvenirs.
