Old Orhei is situated on the Raut River and represents the historical-monastic conservation complex. Here you can see the remains of the Geto-Dacian fortress, a functioning cave monastery, a museum, ruins of the old Turkish bath, and the 19th-century church; you will appreciable historical monuments with a unique, unrepeatable landscape formed by the Raut River, rocks, narrow paths and caves.

In the morning, you will discover the Tighina Fortress in Tighina town and built in the 15th century by the prince of Moldova, Stephen the Great. Originally built as a small wooden fort, it was later fortified in stone by the prince of Moldova, Petru Rares.

Occupied by the Ottomans in 1538 (in a campaign led by Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent), the fort was strengthened in 1541. It became the center of an Ottoman “raya” (in which included the surrounding Moldavian villages). In the 18th century, the fort was strengthened by Moldovan craftsmen under the direct supervision of Dimitrie Cantemir.

Odessa is free morning for the promenade. After lunch, we will explore the famous Odessa Catacombs – a network of underground tunnels and labyrinths, located near Odessa.

During the city tour, you will get acquainted with Odesa, the regional center of Ukraine with a population of more than one million people. The city is situated at a height and is washed by the waters of the Black Sea from the south and the west. The longest season in Odessa is summer – it lasts for 145 days.
