Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
Pass By: Kampala Fair, 25 Bukoto Street (next to Alliance Franรงaise), Kampala Uganda
Our Driver and Staff (with Primate Vacations Identification), will meet you at Entebbe Airport and drive you to your hotel. You will have time to relax and prepare for the trip to Kibale Forest National Park the next day.

Day 2: Kampala to Kibale National Park
Stop At: Kibale Forest National Park - Chimpanzee Tracking, Fort Portal Uganda
Our Driver and Staff will meet you at the hotel early morning and depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park at 10:00am. You will drive through Kampala and continue west toward the park. You will make a stopover for lunch along the route.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park
Stop At: Kibale Forest National Park - Chimpanzee Tracking, Fort Portal Uganda
After Breakfast, we you will go to track chimpanzees in the Forest of Kibale National Park. Our experienced staff and game rangers will guide you in the search for chimpanzees. The Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale isn't about chimps alone, keep an eye out for other primates such as grey-cheeked mangabeys along with l'Hoest's, red colobus, red-tailed and blue monkeys. The guides will share the secrets of the forest's flora and fauna, ensuring that the trail is both informative and enjoyable You will return to your lodge for lunch, relax and prepare for the nocturnal walk. You will return to the lodge and relax after the trek. The lodge has spectacular views of the crater lake below. You will be given an evening guide of the lake
After lunch, you will visit the Bigodi Womenโs Group will take you on a fascinating boardwalk trail through the papyrus swamp of the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.

Day 4: Birding and Nocturnal Walks
Stop At: Kibale Forest National Park - Chimpanzee Tracking, Fort Portal Uganda
After breakfast, you will proceed to bird the vicinity of Kanyanchu look out for the Green-breasted Pitta and other species like Yellow-billed Barbet, African Emerald Cuckoo, Black-billed Turaco, Narina Trogon, Blue-shouldered Robin-chat, Sabineโs Spinetail, Chestnut Wattle eye and Narrow-tailed Starling among others. Primates like Red Colobus, Black and white Colobus, Grey-cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, Red-tailed Monkey, LโHoestโs Monkey among others. Dinner and overnight as before. You will return to your lodge for lunch, relax and prepare for the nocturnal walk.
Nocturnal Forest Walk in Kibale Forest National Park start between 7:00 and 7:00pm - usually this is after dinner. After a brief orientation from Game Rangers, you will set off onto the trail into the jungle. Please carry a water bottle, boots, long trousers, heavy sock, a jacket to protect you against insect bites and scratches, a long-sleeved shirt, a hat and an insect repellent. Look out for Pottos, Bush Babies, Tree Hyrax, birds of the night like Nightjar, Owls and predators such as the Civet.
