      Day 1: Welcome To Colombia! Arrive To Cartagena

      Arrive to Cartagena - Welcome to Colombia!

      You will be picked at the airport and taken to your hotel. Relax in car service during your approximately 20-30 minutes drive to your hotel, time depends on traffic. On the way to your hotel, your english-speaking guide will give you all the recommendations you need to get the most of your stay in Colombia.

  • Day 2 Day 2: The Magical City Of Cartagena

      Day 2: The Magical City Of Cartagena

      You will be picked at your hotel and you will start a panoramic tour through the residential quarters of Bocagrande, Castillo Grande and the republican neighborhood of Manga where you can see the big mansions of the old times. Continue with a visit to the Popa Convent, where you can have a wonderful view of the city. Visit San Felipe de Barajas Fortress, a Spanish military building where youโ€™ll have a walking tour through its underground galleries and tunnels. Transfer to the Walled City to do a walk by the main squares, streets and churches, including the entrance to the Inquisition Palace. 

  • Day 3 Day 3: Barรบ & The Rosario Islands

      Day 3: Barรบ & The Rosario Islands

      Indulge yourself in the warm, crystal waters of the Caribbean. You will be picked up from your hotel and taken for an hour driving to Barรบ, a peninsula, often called an island, which is bounded by the bay of Cartagena, the Dique Canal and the Caribbean Sea.

      Then, you will enjoy a typical breakfast in a local family house from the native people.

      Then, we will take a boat to Isla Grande in the archipelago of the Rosario Islands. The Rosario Islands are an integral part of one of Colombiaโ€™s most important national parks. The only park in the country that is primarily underwater. As such, the islands and surrounding waters are well preserved and protected, meaning that you can enjoy their wonders as nature intended.

      You will enjoy touring the islands, and we will stop at one or two spectacular spots for snorkeling. 

      At noon, you will enjoy a wonderful and delicious typical lunch with fresh fish prepared by locals. You will be able to enjoy and rest at the beach.

      Later, we will have a short walk around Barรบ learning more about their history and culture.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Santa Marta

      Transportation from your hotel in Cartagena to Santa Marta

      You will be picked from your hotel and you will taken to Santa Marta. Enjoy the landscapes on the road from around 3.30 hours to 4.30 hours. This is a shared transportation.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Tayrona National Park

      Transportation from Santa Marta to Tayrona National Park

      You will be transfer to the Tayrona National Park. Relax in service during your approximately 30-60 minutes drive and enjoy beautiful landscapes.


      Tayrona National Park โ€“ a sanctuary of nature and archaeological remains that invite an encounter with oneself. Mangrove swamps, corals, algae prairies, thorny scrubland, and magical dry, humid, and cloud forests proliferate and are home to a surprising variety of vegetal and animal species that bear witness to life.


      Flora and fauna observation are especially interesting here, especially birdwatching, which includes the threatened Andean condor. Aside from its natural and archaeological attractions, Tayrona Natural Park is a great site for eco-tourism, thanks to the diversity of its sea waves and diving sites. The Chairama archaeological site known as Pueblito and the stone paths that lead to it are very attractive to tourists.


      The Tayrona Natural Park is home to over 100 mammal species, among them howling monkeys, pumas, deer, and several species of bats. Over 300 bird species coexist with them, condors and lone and white eagles, being the main ones.


      The park is also home to 31 reptile, 15 amphibian, 202 sponge, 471 crustacean, and more than 1,000 more marine species. Dolphins and marine turtles are frequent visitors; the latter for the purpose of spawning.


      On arrival to the park you will start a guided walk, across trails of the forest and beauty and tropical beaches. During the tour will have the oportunity to show the fauna and flora and enjoy of the amazing landscapes and cliffs. At the end of the tour you can enjoy of the beaches of the park. Include entry to the park and lunch. 


      This is a hiking activity in a small group.


      After activity, you will be taken to your hotel in Santa Marta
