      Arrival in Buenos Aires and transfer to the hotel in the heart of the Palermo district. Your local guide will welcome you and give you some recommendations in order to live a fabulous experience in the capital city. Free afternoon so you can explore the city at your own pace, we suggest you to visit the Northern district: Bosques de Palermo - Botanical Garden - Generic Floralis - National Museum of Fine Arts - Museum of Decorative Art - Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA) - Recoleta Cultural Center - Recoleta Cemetery.

      Day 2: Buenos Aires City Tour: Historic Center And Southern Neighborhood

      In the morning, you are going to visit the city with your local guide and discover the historic center (Plaza de Mayo, Cabildo and the main buildings) observing different architectural styles and impressive domes. Then, you will go to the bohemian neighborhood of San Telmo and the colorful neighborhood of La Boca and its famous street Caminito. After lunch, you will be able to visit an art gallery inside an old "conventillo" (typical colorful house built by immigrants). Duration: 4 hours.

      In the morning, you will be transferred to the airport to take a flight to Puerto Iguazรบ and then you will be transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, you are going to participate in an excursion (maximum 18 people) to the Iguazรบ National Park, to discover the famous waterfalls on the brazilian side. You can enjoy the views from the different footbridges. Return to Puerto Iguazรบ at the end of the afternoon.

      This day will be dedicated to the discovery of the impressive Iguazu Falls, this time on the Argentine side! After walking through the many catwalks and taking advantage of each point of view, you can get as close as possible to a motor boat, which will completely submerge you under the falls. A refreshing experience before returning to Puerto Iguazรบ to spend the night.

      Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Salta. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Arrival and free afternoon to discover the city, called "La Linda".

      Recommendations: in the afternoon we suggest you a tour of the historic center, the Cabildo, the Cathedral and its baroque style, the Convent of San Bernardo and the Church of San Francisco (with its appearance of the colonial past of the city), the San Bernardo Hill , the High Mountain Archaeological Museum (MAAM), which has Inca mummies discovered on the summit of the Llullaillaco volcano at more than 6,000 meters above sea level.

      In the evening, we recommend you to visit one of the famous "Peรฑas" (traditional tavern), where you can taste some tasty empanadas, roast and a rich wine to the rhythm of northern folklore music.

      Day 6: Los Cardones National Park And Valles Calchaquies

      Your driver will pick you up at the hotel to take you on the northwest route, towards Cachi. After crossing Los Cardones National Park, through the so-called "Camino del Inca", the Tin Tin Straight and Los Cardones National Park. You will probably see llamas walking between the cactus through the Andean plateau. Once arrived at Cachi, you will discover a small town of colonial heritage, with low houses dyed white lime, with a calm and conducive environment for the walk.

      Then, it is time to continue on Route 40, in 160 kilometers of sumptuous landscapes between Cachi and Cafayate. The landscapes of the Calchaquรญes valleys mix colorful mountains, hills, meadows and isolated villages. You will cross the Quebrada de las Flechas, deep red mountains and sharp rocks that sprout from the ground. In the afternoon you arrive in the city of Cafayate, where you will spend the night. We suggest you visit a nearby winery and vineyards. Torrontรฉs white wine is a specialty of this region!

      In the morning, you will leave by private car in the direction of Salta. Along the way you will have stops to enjoy the most impressive views, from small colonial cities such as Alemania and then the Quebrada del Rio de las Conchas, and you will enjoy the beauty of its spectacular rock formations carved by erosion and winds as the Garganta del Diablo, the Amphitheater, the Amphitheater. El Sapo (The Toad), El Fraile (The Monk), The Obelisk (The Obelisk) The Castles (The Castles).

      Day 8: Meet A Rural Community On The Way To San Antonio De Los Cobres

      In the morning, your guide will pick you up and drive you in direction to San Antonio de los Cobres, a small town in the Puna (high plateau), famous for its โ€œTren de las Nubesโ€. 

      On the way, you will stop and meet the Turu Yaco community, located in La Quebrada del Toro. You will discover the way of life of the locals and you will be able to participate in daily activities.

      You can make several visits, like for example to the Laguna del Toro, where you will be able to visualize during a few months the three species of flamingos recorded in Argentina or, the hill El Golgotha. This peak is well known and is located at 3640 m altitude. Indeed, it is the only entrance to an important archaeological site called "El Silla del Inca", which is accessed by a narrow path suitable for walkers and mules, part of the Inca road network.

      Do not hesitate to ask for the possibility of making ceramics, wood, textiles with the locals!

      In the afternoon, you go to San Antonio de los Cobres, where you spend the night.

      Today, you will take the road to discover Salinas Grandes, an impressive salt desert at over 4100 meters above sea level, located on the border between Salta and Jujuy. Finally, you will descend observing condors and llamas until you reach Purmamarca, a beautiful village at the foot of the Hill of the Seven Colours.

      Day 10: Discovering The Quebrada De Humahuaca

      You will go visit the Quebrada de Humahuaca and its small villages, this spectacular valley classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will discover the curiosities and colorful markets of each small village, including those of Tilcara and Pucarรก (archaeological site), then the village of Humahuaca.

       

      At noon, you are going to meet a community located in the Province of Jujuy, north of the department of Humahuaca. Hornaditas is a village with a diversity of landscapes and cultures. The first to conquer these lands were the Incas. You will observe constructions, fortifications, cave paintings, and agricultural terraces.

      Most of the tourists who have already visited these places underline the great sense of welcome of local families, and the dazzling landscapes still unknown to tourism because hidden by the geographical space where they are located. You will have a typical dish for lunch (included).

      At the end of the afternoon, you return to Salta called "la linda" (the pretty Salta).

      After lunch in this memorable setting in the middle of the plains of Patagonia, you will navigate the South and Rico arms of Argentinian Lake to arrive at the wonderful Perito Moreno Glacier! Itโ€™s an enormous ice mass that covers an area of 250km and is one of the most impressive glaciers in the world.  It is easy to approach the front of the glacier by walking along the footbridges.

      You will take a trail that offers an impressive panorama of the Andes to an archeological site where you will observe rock paintings from the pre-Tehuelche culture (more than 4000 years old!). Typical lunch on site (included), sheltered by a cave, before returning to El Calafate in the afternoon.
