You can hardly contain your anticipation. The time has finally come for your adventure in Italy to begin! As soon as you get off the plane, the Milanese sun is already beaming down on you. Put on your sunglasses and off you go.
What do you see first? Milan Cathedral, of course! Did you know - the cityโ€™s landmark offers you a fantastic view over the rooftops of Milan from above (optional, payable on site). On a clear day, you can even see the Alps from the roof terrace! Right next to the cathedral, you will find the cityโ€™s next highlight: the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. A visit to the magnificent shopping arcade is a must in the fashion capital of Europe! Take a few snapshots, buy a few souvenirs or sit down in a cafรฉ and enjoy simply doing nothing, or as the Italians say so beautifully: La dolce far niente!

Buongiorno! You jump out of bed full of energy - another day in Milan is on the agenda. First stop: Castello Sforzesco. Once the largest citadel in Europe, it now houses several exhibitions and museums, including Michelangeloโ€™s last masterpiece and the frescoed ceiling painted by Leonardo da Vinci in the Sala delle Asse. Is the weather too nice to stay indoors? No problem, because right behind the palace complex is the green heart of Milan, Sempione Park, which is perfect for a stroll. Another must-do during a city break in Milan? An extensive shopping tour, of course! The Corso Vittorio Emanuele shopping street is located right next to Piazza del Duomo - perfect for combining sightseeing and shopping! And afterwards? How about dinner by the canal? In Navigli, you can enjoy a delicious dinner with a view of the water. What do you fancy - pasta or pizza?

Verona - just thinking about the city makes your stomach tingle. So hop on the train and off you go!
The Casa di Giulietta is the perfect place to start. Whether Shakespeare found his inspiration for Romeo and Juliet here or not - standing here is something very special! Fun fact: the famous balcony was only added for tourists in the 1930s. You stroll past charming alleyways, impressive piazzi and cute cafรฉs to the next highlight: the Arena di Verona. Wow, the world-famous amphitheater is a real eye-catcher! Itโ€™s hard to believe that this impressive structure was built in the 1st century. And then? Take a seat! After all, you didnโ€™t just come to Italy for the beautiful sights, but also for the delicious food! So make yourself comfortable in one of the many restaurants in Piazza Bra and enjoy the Italian delicacies (optional, payable on site). Buen provecho!

You jump out of bed early in the morning - you like Verona so much that you want to make the most of every minute in this beautiful city. Where are you going today? To what is probably the best viewpoint in Verona, Castel San Pietro! Is the climb up to the castle too strenuous for you? No problem, because you can take the funicular to the top in comfort (optional, payable on site). You can look out over the rooftops of the old town, see numerous church towers jutting out of the sea of houses and catch a glimpse of the picturesque Ponte Pietra over the Adige. Wow! You take one photo after another - you really want to capture this moment! Next stop: Ponte Pietra. Wow, you like the bridge even better up close! Can you see the different colors of the stones? The bridge has been damaged several times by floods and wars and has been painstakingly rebuilt. The result? A multi-colored bridge that is a symbol of the Veronese peopleโ€™s commitment to preserving their incredible monuments.

Day 6: Thatโ€™S Amore: Gondola Ride In The Floating City

An absolute must when visiting Venice? A ride on the gondola! Take a seat on the cushioned seats and marvel at the city from the water. The sun shines down from the sky, you breathe in the salty sea air and watch as the gondolier skillfully maneuvers the sleek boat through the waterways. Just when you think it couldnโ€™t get any more beautiful, the Rialto Bridge appears in front of you. How romantic! Have you been waiting for the perfect moment for a selfie? This is it! Youโ€™ve already been amazed by the city from the boat - now you want to explore it on foot. So letโ€™s head to St. Markโ€™s Square, Veniceโ€™s Times Square. The huge square is beautiful at any time of day and is definitely a must-see. Would you like to pay a visit to St. Markโ€™s Basilica, the National Library or the Dogeโ€™s Palace? Nothing could be easier - all three sights line the piazza and are therefore just a stoneโ€™s throw away.
