Welcome to take our China private tour with daily departure, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will enjoy a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people.

Upon your arrival, your guide will warmly welcome you at the arrival hall of the airport, holding a sign with your name on it. Then you will be escorted to check in at the hotel. For the rest of the day, you can take rest to get recovered from jet lag, or have a stroll around the hotel after settled.
Day 2 Beijing

After breakfast, take a transfer to the Tiananmen Square, which enables you to admire the Tiananmen Gatetower and Monument to the People’s Heroes. Later, we will walk through the Meridian Gate and proceed to admire the well-preserved wooden architectures in Forbidden City, regarded as the quintessence of Chinese ancient imperial buildings. By noontime, enjoy the a la carte lunch at a popular restaurant.

Next, proceed to Shichahai to see Hutongs. In order for you to better experience the life of old Beijingers, we will arrange a rickshaw ride along the traditional alleyways, which will last for around 40 minutes. Then, walk into the home of a family living in one of the traditional Siheyuan courtyards there, have a talk with the owner, and learn their daily lives. Thereafter, you will be guided to Temple of Heaven. It is not only the site for ancient emperors to pray for good harvest, but also a good place for many locals to conduct recreational activities.

Day 3 Beijing

Today’s highlight is to visit Badaling Great Wall, the best-preserved and the most famous among all. Standing up there, you will see the Wall zigzagging on the mountain ridges into the distance, very grand and impressive. Today’s lunch will be on your own, and our guide will be happy to provide you some advice.

Afterwards, continue to explore Ming Tombs, the resting place of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). We will focus on its two highlights: Sacred Way and Dingling Tomb. At the end of the day, return to downtown and send you back to the hotel. En route, pass by the Bird’s Nest where you can add more amazing photos to your travel album.

Day 4 Beijing - Xi’An By High-Speed Train

Beijing - Xi’An By High-Speed Train

Visit the Summer Palace. Lunch is on your own, and after that, your guide will escort you to the railway station. You will then take a high speed train to Xi’an. Your Xi’an guide and driver will pick you up at the railway station and take you to the hotel for check-in.

Day 5 Xi’An

Today we will set out for the eighth wonder of the world - Terracotta Army. When you enter this underground museum, rows of vivid terracotta warriors will greet you martially in the three large pits. Lunch is on your own and your guide will gladly assit you. Then your guide will accompany you to learn some stories behind the dramatic discovery right at the home of its discoverer, Mr. Yang Zhifa. Next at a local workshop, an artisan will guide you to make a mini terracotta figure.

After, return to downtown to visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the adjacent Xi’an Museum.

Day 6 Xi’An To Zhangjiajie By Flight

Xi’An To Zhangjiajie By Flight

After breakfast at the hotel, head for the City Wall Park, where the local people usually get up early and do morning exercises. It is a good place to interact with the locals and even join them for fun. Later, your guide will accompany you to have a leisure walk on the ancient City Wall. If interested, you can rent a bike for experiencing the cycling at the cost of your own. After that, your guide will lead you to the Great Mosque with its typical Islamic architectural features. Later, you may stroll around the nearby Muslim Quarter freely to have a taste of local food. It is a good place to have a simple lunch before your flight.

In the afternoon, along the way to airport we will visit the Han Yang Ling Museum, also called Yangling Mausoleum of Han Dynasty (202 BC - 220 AD). What makes it different is that the excavation areas are covered by glass. After, transfer you to the airport to take the flight to Zhangjiajie. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel directly by our local guide and driver.

Day 7 Zhangjiajie

Today you will have a full day tour in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Firstly, we will take the Bailong Elevator to the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area which is famous for the Southern Sky Column - the shooting spot of the famous movie Avatar. Afterwards, your guide will accompany you to take a battery car to Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, where you can find a large array of valuable and rare plants, as well as diverse animals. Later, the guide will accompany you to the Golden Whip Stream. You will then head for Ten-mile gallery by a small train. This gallery is about 5 kilometers (3 miles) long with lush woods, beautiful flowers, and oddly-shaped rocks on both sides.

Day 8 Zhangjiajie

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon will definitely leave you with an unforgettable impression. This Grand Canyon can be regarded as the Zhangjiajie landscape museum, integrating mountains, caves, and water in a composite experience. You can have a whole view of karst topography blending with the twitter of the birds, clear lakes and lively animals. In addition, the Glass Bridge here is the world’s longest and highest. You may challenge yourself to cross it.

Later, you will take a boat on the Baofeng Lake. The picturesque landscape around the lake, along with the beautiful folksongs by local people in traditional costumes, will offer you a great experience.

Day 9 Zhangjiajie - Shanghai

Zhangjiajie - Shanghai

Today we will visit the Tianmen Mountain, the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie. Its name comes from the natural wonder - Tianmen Cave. The cave is named so, literally Heavenly Door, because it looks like a door leading to the heaven if looking afar. We will include a round-trip cable car ride at Tianmen Mountain, to save you energy and time for sightseeing. Up on the mountain, we will ensure the visiting time for around 4 hours.

In the afternoon, visit 72 Qilou. Qilou means high stilt house and “72” indicates there are many of them. You will then be escorted to the airport and take a flight to Shanghai. When you arrive in Shanghai, our guide and driver based there will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 10 Shanghai

The itinerary in this morning will cover Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and Yu Garden. After, walking past Yuyuan Bazaar outside the Yu Garden and take the private car to the noted restaurant we have selected for you. An a la carte farewell lunch will be served there.

After lunch, we will guide you to the Bund area, where a one-hour cruise tour along the Huangpu River will be arranged for you to indulge in the romantic and alluring view of the city. You will also have some free time to enjoy yourself at the Bund full of classic skyscrapers. Afterwards, you will be accompanied to a cultural street - Tianzifang.
