ROUTE OF PINTXOS IN BILBAO (2 HRS 30 MIN)(50 EUR) With the local guide we will go to one of the most emblematic streets of PINTXO in Bilbao, Santa Maria street, where we will taste the first PINTXO in a typical bar. From there we will go to take some pictures of the Ribera market, where the city was founded and today is one of the largest food markets in the world. We will continue to the Ensanche of Bilbao, crossing the Arenal Bridge and enter another of the most famous streets of PINTXO, Ledesma Street. We will enter another typical bar to consume another PINTXO with the typical Basque wine, the TXAKOLI. Crossing the most elegant street of the city, LA GRAN VรA, admiring the incredible palaces that characterize this avenue, such as the Palacio de la Diputaciรณn with its characteristic eclectic style, we will enter two PINTXOS bars to taste 2 typical pintxos of the Villa, with the drink included. From there we will go to one of the most beautiful squares of the city, Moyua square, where we will find the bus and finish our fantastic tour. -4 pintxos and 4 drinks -Local guide during the tour. 15 number of people required.

      Welcome to your tour with Europamundo!Weโ€™ll set off for Castile, traveling through beautiful mountain landscapes. Our first stop will be Segovia, where weโ€™ll take a scenic route around the city to reach Mirador de la Pradera de San Marcos, a viewpoint from which youโ€™ll enjoy the best views of the Alcazar of Segovia, the castle that inspired Walt Disneyโ€™s Maleficentโ€™s castle in Sleeping Beauty, along with its impressive walls. Weโ€™ll then park near the Roman Aqueduct of Segovia, built in the 1st century and used until 1973, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Youโ€™ll have free time to explore the old town, have lunch, and visit the Plaza Mayor, where you can see the cathedral and the Alcazar.Weโ€™ll continue our journey on charming little roads that will allow us to appreciate the towns and landscapes on the way to Pedraza, often hailed as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. This strongly fortified medieval town features cobblestone streets, historic buildings, a picturesque Plaza Mayor, and a fortress dating back to the 13th century. There will be free time for a walk. In the afternoon, weโ€™ll make our way to the Basque Country, arriving in Bilbao. Here, youโ€™ll have free time to explore the old town, where you can visit the numerous taverns and bars to sample the famous โ€œpintxos.โ€

  • Day 2 Day 2: Bilbao, Portugalete, Guernica, Saint Sebastian

      Day 2: Bilbao, Portugalete, Guernica, Saint Sebastian

      Weโ€™ll visit Portugalete, along the Bilbao Estuary, to see the Vizcaya Bridge (tickets included), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the worldโ€™s first transporter bridge for pedestrians and vehicles. Weโ€™ll then explore Bilbao, where the Guggenheim Museum stands out with its striking exterior architecture. Weโ€™ll also see the old town, the historic medieval center filled with vibrant streets and the cathedral. Youโ€™ll have free time to stroll and enjoy lunch. We recommend visiting La Ribera Market for lunch, where you can savor typical Basque cuisine in a boat-like structure located in front of the river. After lunch, weโ€™ll depart for Guernica, the site of one of the worst massacres of the Spanish Civil War, immortalized in Pablo Picassoโ€™s famous painting. Here, weโ€™ll see the Tree of Gernika, beneath which the Basque Country was granted its autonomy during the Middle Ages. Weโ€™ll continue to Hondarribia (Fuenterrabรญa), with its beaches, historic walls, coastal setting, and charming old town, where the grid layout of its narrow, cobbled streets will surely captivate you. Youโ€™ll have time to explore the old town and enjoy dinner. Weโ€™ll then proceed to San Sebastian, arriving by the end of the day. Our hotel is usually located atop Mount Igueldo, offering one of the most beautiful views of this elegant, illuminated city.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Saint Sebastian, Burgos, Madrid

      Day 3: Saint Sebastian, Burgos, Madrid

      In the morning, weโ€™ll start by enjoying breathtaking views over the San Sebastiรกn Bay from Mount Igueldo, followed by a visit to the Miramar Palace and its lovely gardens. Afterward, youยดll have some free time to relax on the cityโ€™s large beach or take a leisurely stroll along its boulevards. We suggest having lunch in the old town, famous for its โ€œpintxosโ€ bars. Early in the afternoon, weโ€™ll head towards Castile, traveling along a highway with stunning scenery. Our next stop will be Burgos, where weยดll spend some time exploring the historic center, highlighted by the Burgos Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece. Weโ€™ll then continue our journey to Madrid, arriving by the end of the day. Our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful and lasting memories.Please, check the time of your flight in case you might need an additional night.
