PROGRAMME

Day 1โ€”PARIS- YAOUNDE

Arrival and reception at the Yaoundรฉ International Airport- Nsimalen from Paris- transfer to town, settling in the Hotel, Dinner and night at CENTRAL HOTEL 3*

Day 2โ€”YAOUNDE-AYOS-ABONG BANG-LOMIE

Departure from Yaoundรฉ in the morning for Lomiรฉ, passing through Ayos and Abong bang, where you will discover the beautiful equatorial forest. Arrival at Lomiรฉ, settling in at Raphia hotel, dinner and night.

Day 3-LOMIE- PIGMY CAMP

After breakfast-departure to the pigmy village. Arrival at the pigmy village-settling in- lunch. Discovering and participating in the various activities which characterize the daily life of these people, the first occupants of the equatorial forest; introduction to hunting and fishing, plucking medicinal plants. Cultural evening-traditional dances- they will tell tales and legends of the forest sitting around a fire. Dinner and night in a tent- total immersion in nature.

Day 4 &5- PIGMY CAMP 1

Day-long activities with pigmies in the heart of the primary forest: a walk in the forest and harvesting of various forest fruits, net hunting, harvesting medicinal plants, local fishing and harvesting of honey and other activities. Return to the camp, dinner and evening around a fire,

Ritual Buma dance and tales. Night in the tent.

Day 6&7- PIGMY CAMP 2

Morning wake by cries of animals and singing of birds. Leaving the first camp( an opportunity for you to do trekking, walks and discovery in the forest, watching fauna and flora) to settle in another village still found in the pigmy area to spend two nights there- day 6&7. Traditional lighting of fire, collecting palmwine. Performance of Baka traditional dances. Dinner and night at the camp.

Day 8- PIGMY CAMP

Day-long activities with pigmies in the village: a walk in the forest, harvesting of various forest fruits and lunch. In the afternoon, basket making, traditional carrying of water in a calabash. Collecting raphia wine, traditional lighting of fire, Baka traditional dances. Dinner and night in pigmy hut.

Day 9- PIGMY CAMP- LOMIE- ABONG BANG-AYOS-YAOUNDE- PARIS

Morning wake, breakfast and departure for Yaoundรฉ through Lomiรฉ. Arrival in the evening, settling in at hotel for the day, dinner in a local restaurant, discovery of the Cameroonian kitchen, return to hotel, departure to the Airport for departure formalities, takeoff and end of visit.

Day 10: Return and arrival in Paris
