Single accommodation is not possible on the Mountain for this programme Portable toilet/shower are not permitted on Mount Meru On Day 1, the check-in starts from 02:00 pm On the last day, the check-out is at 11:00 am. In case you need a late check-out because of an evening flight, there is the option to extend your hotel stay for an extra fee (available as an optional extra) There is no guarantee that you will be part of a group, or part of the same group during the tour Please note that if you select the Extra Acclimatization Night, the services will be moved one day ahead On your first day at this altitude, it is strongly recommended you heed the following instructions from this point on (1) Abstain from consuming alcohol and caffeine (2) Drink over 4 litres of bottled water daily (little by little, frequently) (3) Take a Diamox pill to help alleviate symptoms of altitude sickness. Most mountain climbers take Diamox in the morning, before they start their ascent, in order to reduce discomfort associated with altitude sickness. We recommend you consult your doctor prior to the trip in case of potential allergies. At night you may experience discomfort associated with acclimatization to the high altitude: because of a reduction in your waking breathing pattern, your body gets less oxygen than during the day. Taking altitude into account, you may therefore start feeling sick and have a headache. Pay attention to your own body and tell your guide if you start feeling any symptoms of altitude sickness We reserve the right to change itineraries and activities due to weather conditions, technical problems or security reasons Early check-in, late check-out, connecting or adjoining rooms in the hotel are subject to availability and not guaranteed In many hotels in Tanzania, the triple rooms are a double room with an additional bed or sofa bed. Their comfort conditions are lower than the international standards of the triple room No refund for unused services. Splitting of the package is not allowed
