About experience

Day1:ย Pick upย fromย the airport and transfer to the hotel. Cityย tour inย Yerevan,ย during which youโ€™ll get acquainted with the capital of Armenia.ย If wanted, museums can be included into the programme. (L)

Day2:ย Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to one of the three holy places in Armenia,ย Khor Virapย monastery, toย Areni, a village in theย Vayots Dzor provinceย ofย Armenia best known for its wine production,ย Noravank, 13th-century Armenian monastery. Overnight in Jermuk. (L)

Day3:ย Breakfast at the hotel. Tour in spa cityย Jermuk. Then comes Khndzoresk, famous for the 160-meter long swinging bridge and caves.ย You'll visit the Armenianย Stonehenge -ย Karahunj.ย Tour toย Tatev, 9th-century Armenian Apostolic monastery. The monastic complex stands on the edge of a deep gorge of the Vorotan River. To get to the monastery we'll take the cable carย Wings of Tatev,ย that holds the record for longest non-stop double track cable car.ย Overnight in Goris. (D)

Day4:ย Breakfast at the hotel.ย Tour toย Nagorno-Karabakh,ย toย Shoushiย whichย has religious and strategic importance, housing theย Ghazanchetsots Cathedral, the church ofย Kanach Zham, Shoushi fortress, Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque, etc.,ย Stepanakert,ย the capital and the largest city of the Nagorno-Karabakh. Overnight inย Stepanakert. ย (D)

Day5:ย Breakfast at the hotel.ย Tour to 13th - century monasteryย Gandzasar,ย Dadivank monastery. Overnight in Sevan. (D)

Day6:ย Breakfast at the hotel. Tour toย Lake Sevanย ย andย Sevanavankย the monastic complex located on the peninsula. Tour to spa cityย Dilijanย usually called Armenian Switzerland or Little Switzerland by the locals. Overnight in Yerevan. (L)

Day7:ย Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to the only pagan temple left in Armenia โ€“ย Garni. Nowadays the ruins of the royal palace and the bathroom with a stunning mosaic work can be found near the temple. Tour toย Geghardย monastery, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight inย Yerevan. (L)

Day8:ย Breakfast at the hotel. Tour toย Etchmiadzin, one of the three saint places in Armenia. We will also visitย St. Gayaneย andย St. Hripsimeย churches,ย Zvartnots Cathedral. Cathedral and Churches of Etchmiadzin and the Archaeological Site of Zvartnots are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Transfer to the airport. (L)
