Welcome to Madagascar, where you will be greeted by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Day 2: Tana To Antsirabe

We start our day with breakfast at the hotel and it’s on the road through the rice fields and the tombs of the Highlands of Madagascar. We will enjoy a quick visit to a factory in Ambatolampy to see the handcrafted aluminum pots. We will arrive in Antsirabe in the afternoon where you will join in the local’s artisan’s workshop. Antsirabe is also known for its many spring and warm thermal water sources.
Day 3 Day 3: Antsirabe To Kirindy Reserve

Day 3: Antsirabe To Kirindy Reserve

First breakfast, then west on the road to one of the most sought after locations in Madagascar, Baobab Avenue. You can’t come to Madagascar and not stop to see these ancient, gigantic trees. Once you have taken plenty of pictures and seen these trees up close, we will head back on the road for our 35 kilometre drive on the dirt road.

It may not be the most confortable drive you’ve ever had, but the panoramic views will defiantly make up for it! Once we get into Kirindy you will check into your hotel, but our night isn’t over yet! Around 6pm we include a night visit to catch a glimpse of the lemur mouse.

Day 4 Day 4: Kirindy Forest Reserve To Bekopaka

Day 4: Kirindy Forest Reserve To Bekopaka

After breakfast at the hotel, we are off to Kirindy Forest to see some lemurs, reptiles, Fossa, and much more! This is a protected forest and has an abundance of flora for you to admire. If you love seeing wildlife in it’s most natural habitat, then this ones for you.

We will now continue on a 2 hour drive though the dusty road to Tsingy, de Bemaraha National Park. Now it will be a transfer via ferry to Belo Sur Tsiribihina, and through to Bekopaka. We will arrive in the small town later in the afternoon to check in to our hotel for the evening.

Day 5 Day 5: Tsingy De Bemaraha National Park

Day 5: Tsingy De Bemaraha National Park

We start our day off with breakfast at the hotel, and the off to Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, where we will spend the morning. The Malagasy word for “walking on tiptoes” is Tsingy, much of this park is still inaccessible. You will notice the limestone formations, and grandiose number of wildlife and foliage that this park has to offer. We will spend about 2-3 hours exploringthe area. Next we will make our way to the Manambolo River excursion, to explore the tombs of Malagasy ancient Vazimba people, whom are said to be the first inhabitants of Madagascar. This is also home to the stalactite and stalagmite formations that hang in the natural caves.

Now it’s time to visit the quaint town of Tsingy, in order to head back to Bekopaka Village in the afternoon.

Day 6 Day 7: Bekopaka, Big Tsingy

Day 7: Bekopaka, Big Tsingy

This morning after a delightful breakfast to start our day, we will dive to Big Tsingy about 1-1.5 hours out. We will be embarking on a 4-hour hike (approximately), through a limestone forest and plenty hanging bridges.

Day 7 Day 7: Bekopaka Back To Morondava

Day 7: Bekopaka Back To Morondava

We will start off early this morning off with breakfast at the hotel, and head back to Belo sur Tsiribhina. Now it’s onto the ferry to Tsimafana, to continue on to Morondava.

We will reach Morondava just in time for the beautiful sunset backdrop of the Baobabs Avenue! After the amazing sunset and plenty of picture taking, we make our way back to the city centre.

Breakfast at the hotel, and then we make our way back to Antsirabe through Miandrivazo where we will overnight.

Today we start with breakfast at the hotel, and head back to Antananarivo. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the city for a quick last minute, shop, visit to the local market, or pick up a souvenir you may have forgotten. Now it’s back to the airport for your flight home.
