Early risers are rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Nordfjord landscape. The ship then sails past the West Cape and sets course for Alesund. If you travel in spring, you have almost the whole day to explore this beautiful Art Nouveau town. In summer (June to August), the ship sets course for the spectacular Geirangerfjord*, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and sails past some of the most beautiful landscapes Norway has to offer. Once you have entered the fjord, you may be able to see the famous Seven Sisters waterfall cascading down the cliffs. In the late evening you call at the jazz and rose town of Molde and at night Kristiansund. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner). (*Programme note: On some dates in summer, the Hjorundfjord is visited instead of the Geirangerfjord. In the spring from April to May and in the fall from September to October you will explore the Hjorundfjord, which is hidden in the Sunnmore Alps. The boat also stops in the picturesque village of Urke to see the thousand-year-old farms, the fjords and the green mountain landscapes).

As Nidaros, it was Norwayโ€™s first capital. Next to the cathedral is the Archbishopโ€™s Palace, where the Norwegian crown jewels are on display. Nearby, the old city bridge Gamle Bybro crosses the river Nid, marking the entrance to the old Hanseatic quarter Bakklandet. The colorful wooden houses on stilts that stand on the banks of the river in this part of town are now home to trendy restaurants. In the afternoon, the journey continues towards the northwest. Enjoy the fantastic view of the coastline, small islands and majestic mountain ranges from the panorama deck. After passing the historic Kjeungskjaer lighthouse, the ship sets course for the picturesque town of Rorvik. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner).
