      Day 1: Puerto Montt - Puerto Varas

      After your individual arrival at Puerto Montt airport, you will be transferred to Puerto Varas. Your first excursion begins from there. You will travel to the neighboring town of Frutillar, which is known for its well-preserved architecture and culture (Teatro del Lago). There you get on the saddle and cycle along Lake Llanquihue and enjoy the impressive panorama. You will reach the town of Llanquihue and enjoy its picturesque charm before continuing on to visit the Chester Beer brewery in Puerto Varas, where some award-winning craft beers are produced (including tasting). Afterwards, a transfer will take you to your overnight hotel. 3 nights in Puerto Varas at the Hotel Solace (upper middle class, national category: 4 stars). (picnic)

      Day 4: Puerto Varas - Puerto Montt

      For todayโ€™s trekking excursion, we head towards the Alerce Andino National Park to the south-east of Puerto Montt. It is located just a few kilometers from the Carretera Austral and, with an area of almost 40,000 hectares, is the largest remaining rainforest in Valdivia. Most of the trees are native Alerce, one of the oldest trees in the world. You will explore the national park on easy hikes to get a closer look at these amazing giant trees, some of which are around 3,000-4,000 years old. You will receive an introduction to the history of the park and the importance of the alerce tree in this region. With a bit of luck, you will see some of the native animals such as foxes, pudú (small Chilean deer) and the charming monito del monte (small marsupial of South America). In the late afternoon, you will drive back to Puerto Varas. (Breakfast, picnic)
