Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport
Pass By: Entebbe, Uganda
You will be picked up from Entebbe airport by our representative to your accommodation for tonight. You will meet your driver/ guide tomorrow morning when he picks you up from your hotel. Depending on the time of your arrival, you might be able to do some optional activities in Entebbe; for example, a visit to the Botanical gardens or the Ugandan Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC). Please note that all activities today are at your own cost.

Day 2: Kibale Forest Via Fort Portal
Stop At: Kibale National Park, Kibale National Park, Western Region
In the early morning you will be picked up from your accommodation by your driver/guide. You will begin your journey to Kibale Forest National Park. The drive is incredibly scenic, passing through tea plantations and the lush green countryside which characterizes so much of Uganda.
After about five hours driving, you stop for lunch in the cosy town Fort Portal. You have time to walk around town and/or visit the local market or hike to the top of the world. Check-in at your lodge and have a relaxed

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking &Bigodi Swamp Walk
Stop At: Kibale National Park, Kibale National Park, Western Region
Today you will experience some serious monkey business! Kibale Forest National Park boasts the highest number of primate species in the world, including the chimpanzees. Approximately 5,000 chimpanzees live in the wild in Uganda, which makes it a perfect place to spot them!
In the early morning you will go with an experienced ranger for chimp tracking; you might also see other monkey species that live here. Once you locate the chimpanzees you will have a full hour of eye-to-eye contact with them. Since they are wild animals, we can never guarantee you to see them and might have to settle with hearing their hoots and hollers.
Your swamp-walk (2-3 hours) will take you through grassland, small communities and some beautiful scenery, where the locals are likely to greet you with enthusiastic waves. It is usual to spot three to four different primate species during this walk, though the highlight is catching a glimpse of the great blue turaco!

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, 410 kilometers from Kampala, Kasese Uganda
In the morning, you can relax at your lodge, make a crater lake hike or visit a nearby tea plantation, where you will be able to assist the tea pickers and learn about how leaves are selected for the highest quality (All activities of this morning are at your own cost). You will then continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is Ugandaโs second largest park, located at the base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain range, adjacent to Lake Edward and Lake George. The park has prolific game, including Gazelle, Uganda Kob, Warthog and Waterbuck. You will stay at a nice accommodation overlooking the Kazinga Channel where you will go for lazy camping.

Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Safari
Pass By: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
Today you wake up early and you will go for your first game drive in Queen Elizabeth NP. Queen Elizabeth is Ugandaโs second largest park, located at the base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain range, adjacent to Lake Edward and Lake George. The park has prolific game, including gazelle, Uganda kob, warthog and waterbuck. Lions are often sighted both in and at the entrance to the park. Be prepared for huge numbers of hippo and elephant, and keep your eyes peeled for a leopard lazing in the sunshine.
In the afternoon you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel which joins Lake George and Lake Albert.

Day 6: Game drive Ishasha sector - Transfer to Buhoma sector of Bwindi Impenetrable forest NP
Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Buhoma Uganda
After breakfast you will continue your journey to Buhoma sector; also called the Impenetrable forest. We do a game drive In the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National park looking for tree climbing lions before proceeding to check in at our lodge overlooking the impenetrable forest for relaxations.

Day 7: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest - Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Western Region
Today is the epic day for gorilla trekking, meet Uganda's gentle giant! For most people this is the absolute highlight of their tour in Uganda. The gorillas you track belong to one of nine habituated family
Groups who can tolerate the presence of humans for a brief period every day.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest boasts both mountain gorillas and chimpanzees - the only forest in Africa which can make this claim. It also hosts five other species of primate, 113 species of mammal, over 200 butterflies and 360 birds. En route, your guide will point out signs of previous gorilla activity, including dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots. Your track will be an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes and bamboo before you eventually reach the gorilla family. The time taken to track the gorillas can be as few as 2 hours to as many as 7 hours. Once the gorillas have been located, your group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. Coming face-to-face with a mountain gorilla is a truly humbling and emotional experience. This is a fantastic and privileged opportunity to get up close and personal with Ugandaโs very own โGorillas in the Mistโ. Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi (Bunyonyi literally means many birds), the second deepest lake sounded by different Islands overlooking the Virunga mountains

After your morning activity, your driver/ guide will drive back toKampala or Entebbe (Airport) stopping at the equator for the requisite snapshot and a bit of souvenir shopping.Accommodation for tonight is not inclusive in the program. If youwish to depart tonight from Entebbe Airport, make sure your flightis at 10 pm or later. If you would like us to book one (or more) nights in Kampala and/or Entebbe, please let us know.
