Day 1: Kampala โ Murchison Falls
Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
Head off to Murchison Falls National Park starting in Kampala via Bombo road that should take you about 5 hours. On your way, you will see the legendary Luweero triangle, today is a small town with a trading center recognized for its agonizing past during Oboteโs regime. Continue and branch off at Masindi Hotel for lunch. You will pass through Budongo forest and Kaniyo Pabidi. When you reach the park, drive directly to the Top of the falls, such a pretty site for appreciating the mighty River Nile and the most powerful rush of water anywhere in the world behind. Camp or lodge at Sambiya Lodge (budget)/ Red Chili/ Paraa Safari Lodge (luxury) FB.

Stop At: Rhino Fund Uganda ( Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary), Gulu Highway Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Nakitoma Uganda

Day 2: Game drives - launch cruise
Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
Set off for an early game view drive on the Northern Delta Nile. Lions, buffaloes, waterbuck, Jacksonโs hartebeest, Rothschildโs giraffe, oribi and baboons are some of the animals you will spot. Soon you can take a launch cruise on the Murchison falls in about two hrs. Spot schools of some of the largest hippos and crocodiles, small herds of buffalo. There is rich birdlife on the papyrus banks, watch out for the shoebill stork, the most sought after bird in Africa. Go to the Top of the falls, such a lovely scene for viewing the fall, park as well taking lunch or relaxing. Camp or lodge at Sambiya Lodge (budget) / Red Chili/ Paraa Safari Lodge (Luxury) FB.

Day 3: Transfer from Murchison falls to Kibale forest
Stop At: Kibale Forest National Park - Chimpanzee Tracking, Fort Portal Uganda
After morning breakfast, transfer from Murchison falls to kibale forest national park with spectacular views of the rift valley, great Lake Albert, the Rwenzori ranges, the beautiful Lakes George and Edward, generally the western Albertine rift valley environment. Dinner and overnight at Crater safari Lodge/Primates lodge.

Day 4: kibale to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park

You will have an early and trasnfer to Bwindi impenetrabel forets national paerk with lunch enroute at Igongo cultural centre in Mbarara. You will reach in the evening having dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort (luxury)/ Buhoma community Bandas (budget) FB

Day 5: Mountain Gorilla Tracking and Batwa local communities
Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Buhoma Uganda
Take an early morning breakfast, head to the park office headquarters with packed lunch for an inevitable briefing ready to trek for the gorillas in the thick impenetrable forests. You get to spend an hour with the gorillas after having trekked for about 3-5 hours. If you are still energetic, in the evening, head for a brief nature walk to the Batwa community. Also available are curio shops, drinking joints, a childrenโs school among others. You can try the other option being Munyanja river trail, where you can see the waterfalls and an array of bird life or the Muzabajiro/ Ruhija trails which offer forest and grassland bird species plus more primates. Return to Gorilla Resort (luxury)/ Buhoma community Bandas (budget) FB.
