      Your adventure begins with a pick-up in Reykjavรญk. First up is the Golden Circle area, starting with a scenic drive to รžingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Immerse yourself in the historic and geological wonders of รžingvellir, where you can explore the dramatic rift valley and learn about Icelandโ€™s fascinating history as the site is known for being the place where the Icelandic Parliament (Alรพingi) was founded back in 930 AD.

      Continuing the journey, youโ€™ll drive to the Geysir geothermal area, where powerful geysers erupt and create a mesmerizing spectacle. Experience the thrill of watching Strokkur geyser shoot hot water every 10-15 minutes high into the air. Next, head to the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, one of Icelandโ€™s most iconic natural wonders. Marvel at the sheer power and beauty of the cascading falls before enjoying a lunch stop at the site.

      After lunch, your adventure takes you to towards the South Coast. Our first stop on the South Coast is at the enchanting Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can take a walk behind the cascading water curtain for a unique perspective. After a short drive further east is the awe-inspiring Skรณgafoss waterfall, known for its impressive height and thundering water. Capture stunning photos and feel the mist on your face as you stand in awe of these majestic falls.

      Next, visit the black sand beach of Reynisfjara, famous for its striking basalt columns and towering sea stacks. Explore the otherworldly landscape and learn about the fascinating folklore surrounding this area. Finally, youโ€™ll drive to your hotel on the South Coast, where you can relax and recharge for the next dayโ€™s adventures.

  • Day 2 Katla Ice Cave & Jรถkulsรกrlรณn Glacier Lagoon

      After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, youโ€™ll embark on another day of exploration. Begin with a visit to the charming coastal village of Vรญk, known for its picturesque black sand beaches and dramatic rock formations. Take in the breathtaking views of the Reynisdrangar sea stacks before continuing your journey.

      Once at Vรญk you will have the option to join the Katla Ice Cave tour, a magical natural wonder hidden beneath the Mรฝrdalsjรถkull glacier. Explore the ice cave and marvel at the stunning blue hues and intricate ice formations. Alternatively, you can choose to spend some free time exploring the area and taking in the serene beauty of the surrounding landscapes.

      After the ice cave adventure, enjoy a delicious lunch in Vรญk before driving to the stunning Fjaรฐrรกrgljรบfur canyon. Walk along the canyon rim and be captivated by the sheer scale and beauty of this geological marvel. Continuing eastward, youโ€™ll arrive at Jรถkulsรกrlรณn, a glacial lagoon filled with massive icebergs. Enjoy the mesmerizing sight of icebergs floating in crystal-clear waters. Donโ€™t miss the nearby Diamond Beach which is only about 5 min walk from the lagoon, where ice chunks from the lagoon wash up on the black sand, creating a magical contrast.

      In the late afternoon, drive to your hotel in Hรถfn area, where you can relax and reflect on the dayโ€™s adventures.

  • Day 3 East Iceland

      Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before continuing your Icelandic adventure. Todayโ€™s journey takes you to the remote and beautiful eastern part of Iceland. Drive the breathtaking road hanging above the sea at Hvalรกrskriรฐur and รžvottรกrskriรฐur to Djรบpivogur, a charming fishing village known for its picturesque harbor and stunning mountain views. Take a moment to explore the village and appreciate the tranquility of this coastal gem. Djรบpivour is also known for the Eggs in Gleรฐivรญk (Merry Bay Harbour), an outdoor artwork representing 34 local birdsโ€™ eggs.

      Continue your drive to Egilsstaรฐir, during the summer we will take the ร–xi highland road passing a series of waterfalls. However, during the winter months, we will drive the coast line, passing through several coastal fishing villages. Once at Egilsstaรฐir, you can enjoy a delicious lunch and take a break before the next leg of the journey. Afterward, venture to Borgarfjรถrรฐur Eystri, a hidden gem famous for its puffin colonies and rugged beauty. Watch these adorable seabirds in their natural habitat and explore the quaint village. The puffins are only there over the summer months from end of April until end of August.

      Next, drive to Vรถk Baths, a geothermal oasis nestled on the shores of Lake Urriรฐavatn. Immerse yourself in the soothing warm waters and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and landscapes. Relax and rejuvenate in these natural hot springs. If you wish, you can skip the Vรถk Baths and explore Egilsstaรฐir on your own instead. We will the regroup at Egilsstaรฐir and check into the hotel for the night.

  • Day 4 Stuรฐlagil Canyon & Lake Mรฝvatn

      After enjoying a delicious breakfast and checking out of the hotel, itโ€™s time to hit the road again. Begin your day with a visit to the western side of Stuรฐlagil Canyon, known for its striking basalt columns and stunning blue glacial river. Explore this hidden gem and witness the unique formations that make it a photographerโ€™s paradise.

      Next up is Dettifoss, Europeโ€™s most powerful waterfall. Feel the raw power and hear the thundering sound as water plummets into the canyon below. Take your time to appreciate the sheer scale and grandeur of this natural wonder.

      From there we will travel to the Lake Mรฝvatn area. Weโ€™ll start with a visit at Nรกmaskarรฐ geothermal area, known for its otherworldly landscapes and bubbling mud pots. Take a walk among the steaming vents and colorful mineral deposits, getting a glimpse of Icelandโ€™s geothermal activity up close.

      Your adventure continues with a visit to Dimmuborgir, a mystical lava field with eerie rock formations and lava pillars. Explore the area and discover the folklore and legends associated with these dark and dramatic landscapes.

      Next, visit Skรบtustaรฐagรญgar, a collection of pseudocraters formed by volcanic activity. Take a walk along the rim of these unique formations and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding area.

      Make a stop at Goรฐafoss Waterfall, known for its beauty and historical significance. Learn about the ancient Icelandic sagas that surround this majestic waterfall and take in the breathtaking views.

      After a day filled with natural wonders, check into your hotel in the Akureyri area, where you can relax and reflect on the dayโ€™s experiences.

Take a leisurely walk to the harbor and embark on a thrilling Whale Watching Tour. If you decide not to join the whale-watching tour, you can wander around the town, and check out the main street, the stairs that lead up to their church, and visit the botanical gardens.

      After the whale-watching adventure, enjoy a lunch in Akureyri before continuing your journey. Drive to Glaumbรฆr, a historic turf farm and open-air museum that offers a glimpse into Icelandโ€™s rural past. Step back in time as you explore the traditional turf houses and gain insight into the countryโ€™s rich cultural heritage.

      Next, visit Borgarvirki, an ancient volcanic plug that served as a fortress in Icelandโ€™s Viking Age. Learn about its historical significance and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
