Day 2: Baku City tour
Stop At: Highland Park, Baku Azerbaijan
If you are looking for the right viewpoint to take in all of the city, Upland Park is the right place to be. This park sits next to the Flame Towers and is the highest point in Baku. From it, you can take a great view of the tower, the Caspian Sea, and other iconic locations.The Upland Park was first named Kirovโs Park until Black January. Now going as Upland Park, both this location and the Martyrsโ Lane stand to show respect to the victims of the incident.

Stop At: Baku Boulevard, Neftchilar avenue, Baku Azerbaijan
The Boulevard is one large strolling location erected in 1909 during the time Baku oil barons lived at the seafront. The city promenade spreads adjacent to the seafront of Baku and is the biggest park in the city. The entirety of the place continues to extend further from the National Flag square to the Freedom Square. At the moment, the park consists of a 5km walk, and there are plans to extend it further up to 26 km.

One of the things to do in Baku before completing your tour is getting to know Azerbaijan. An excellent place to start is at the National Museum of History. The museum sits in the former mansion of one of the countries renowned philanthropist and oil magnate, Haji Taghiyev. The residence was repurposed as a museum in 1920. As of 1921 it became open to visitors and has remained the biggest archives in Baku.

Another exciting place to experience in the inner city of Baku is the Shirvanshahs Palace. Its construction began as far back as the 12th century and was completed in the 15th century. The Shirvan Palace is one of the preserved marks of the Shirvan dynasty that existed during the middle ages. Currently, the landmark went under some major renovation during 2003 and now serve as a museum.
UNESCO has highlighted this treasured site as โone of the architectural pearls of Azerbaijan.โ When you head there, make sure to take some pictures and look around. There is the Hammam, Mausoleum, Mosque, Minaret, and living quarters to explore.

Stop At: Maiden Tower, Downtown Baku Old City, Baku 1000 Azerbaijan
The Maiden Tower, or Giz Galasi as the locals call it, is a fascinating but difficult place to photograph. However, when you manage to get to the top of the building, the view is so worth it! You get to see all the glory of the old city. And while on your way up, there are so many thrilling artifacts to discover.

Stop At: Fountain Square, Baku Azerbaijan
Fountain Square is a lovely place to find yourself. The free walkthrough and hangout section of downtown Baku was first named Parapet. The new name Fountain Square comes from the dozens of fountains that used to be in this location during the soviet rule. However, the place still has a grand fountain that steals attention mostly in the night.

Day 3: Absheron Peninsula tour
Stop At: Ateshgah - Fire Temple, ะกััะฐั ะฐะฝัะบะธะน ัะฐะนะพะฝ, Baku Azerbaijan
The Temple of Eternal Fire - Ateshgah - is an authentic Azerbaijani exotic. It is well-known practically all over the world. It is located 30 km from the center of Baku in the suburb of Surakhany. This territory is known for such unique natural phenomenon as burning natural gas outlets (underground gas coming onto surface contacts oxygen and lights up). From times immemorial this was the holy place of Zoroastrians- fire worshippers.

One of the most famous and popular tourist places of the "eternal flameโ in Azerbaijan is the mountain of Yanar Dag. Actually, it is rather a hill than a mountain, with natural gas burning on its slope from ancient times.From the year 2007 Yanar Dag is declared a state-protected conservation area.

Day 4: Gobustan & Mud volcanoes Tour
Stop At: Gobustan Rock Art, Gobustan Settlement - Garadagh District 60 km South of Baku, Qobustan 1080 Azerbaijan
Gobustan occupies the south-eastern spur of the Great Caucasian Range and lies west of the Apsheron Peninsula.Today Gobustan is the most popular state reserve and is an invaluable treasure-house of Azerbaijan.Apart from petroglyphs, there is also this musical gemstone known as Gaval Dash. The Gaval Dash have been formed due the combination of unique climate, oil and gas which can be found in the region of Azerbaijan and can only be found in Gobustan.

Stop At: Mud Volcanoes, Dasgil Hill, Qobustan 3700 Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan and its Caspian coastline are home to nearly 400 mud volcanoes, more than half the total throughout the world. In 2001, one mud volcano 15 kilometers from Baku made world headlines when it suddenly started ejecting flames 15 meters high. Itโs estimated that 300 of the planetโs estimated 700 mud volcanoes sit Gobustan, Azerbaijan and the Caspian Sea.

Bibi-Heybat Mosque, one of the most beautiful modern buildings in Baku, very quickly entered the list of monuments that invariably attract tourists.The magnificent landmark of Azerbaijan is a model of classical Shirvan architecture. The best architects have tried to use all the canonical foundations of this direction: its chequered light and shade, scale and so on.
