Day 1: cairo arrival

Stop At: Cairo, Cairo, Cairo Governorate
Your Egypt Tours representative will meet & assist you at Cairo International Airport, and handle all your procedures through passport control, luggage area & customs formalities. Then you will be transferred to your hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Giza pyramids- Sakkara-Memphis

Stop At: Pyramids of Giza, Al Haram Str., Giza 12611 Egypt
.you'll enjoy personalized attention on your tour of these famous symbols of Egypt's ancient civilization. In the Giza plateau area, the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx date back over 4600 years. The Pyramids of Giza are by far the most famous and are the last of the ancient Seven Wonders of the World. Your Egyptologist guide will provide a fascinating introduction to each of the three pyramids: Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. You will have free time to enter one of the pyramids (additional cost), although your guide is not permitted to enter with you You'll then continue across the plateau for a photo opportunity of the three pyramids rising from the sands, with the Cairo skyline in the background. A short drive to the city side of the plateau finds you standing at the feet of the Sphinx, for thousands of years the enigmatic symbol of Egypt. The Sphinx has the body of a lion and the head of a king, and is surrounded in mystery, including the unanswered questions: who built it and why

Your next stop is Sakkara, home of Egypt's oldest pyramid, built in 2800 B.C. Your guide will provide a brief history of the famous Step Pyramid and youโ€™ll have free time to walk around and visit the painted tombs of the nobles

Memphis is your last destination. You will see the open-air museum of the city. In Memphis, you will see the second largest Sphinx in Egypt, known as the alabaster Sphinx, the lying colossus of Ramses II that is a masterpiece and a strong proof of how Egyptian sculpture reached the peak. You will also see many more monuments dug in this great city. Memphis was the first capital city of Egypt after the unity of the Southern and Northern kingdoms. Enjoy all the beautiful monuments on display in the open museum.

Day 3: city tour

Stop At: The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, Midan El Tahrir Geographical Society Building, Cairo 11511 Egypt
The Egyptian museum in Cairo is one of the largest museums in the world. Your Egypt tours will take you in a 4 hours tour to explore the treasures of the museum (opend in 1901).Look at the amazing monuments and artifacts in its different halls in a guided tour. Although the museum has tens of thousands of artifacts but in this short tour, your Egyptologist guide will focus on the highlights and masterpieces of the museum

Visit the Tut Ankh Amun Wing on the first floor and see his wonderful collection of historically important artwork. The treasures are mainly golden and they cover a quite large section of the museum. This area of the museum includes significant statues, furniture and gold sculptures. After enjoying the guided part of the tour, take some free time to browse the museum with the option of visiting the royal mummy room.

Stop At: Mosque of Muhammad Ali, Al Abageyah Qism El-Khalifa, Cairo 11511 Egypt
Visit to the Citadel of Saladin, a 12th century fortress .Inside the citadel; you will go into the Alabaster mosque. Built in 1830, the mosque was designed by a Turkish architect, who followed the same style of the Blue mosque of Sultan Ahmed in Istanbul. Your guide will explain the main elements of the mosque and basic Islamic principles. Enjoy the panoramic view of the city from the top.

Enjoy some free time at Khan El Khalili, the biggest market in Cairo. In Khan el Khalili bazaar, you will enjoy strolling through the maze of streets and bargain for a souvenir of your trip to Egypt. You can spend some time having a local drink in one of the oldest Coffee shops in Cairo El Fishawy (1763).

Day 4: Alexandria

Stop At: Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, Kom Al Shokafa, Alexandria 21599 Egypt
Your first stop in this historic city is the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, which is a Roman burial site that reveals the merging of Egyptian and Roman art and architecture. Descend below ground to visit the tomb and Caracalla Hall.you will find the impressive mixture of Roman and Egyptian art and symbols.

Stop At: Bibliotheca Alexandrina, El Shatby, Alexandria 30100 Egypt
you will visit the famous Alexandria Library. In contrast to the ancient architecture found throughout Egypt, this Norwegian-designed building is a striking piece of modern design. A copy of every book published in the world is kept in the library, making it one of the great literary sites in the world. The library also houses several exhibitions relating to the history of Egypt and a display of rare antique books (for an additional cost).

Enjoy the best view over the city and the sea from the Fort of Qaitbay, a 15th fort built on top the original location of the Lighthouse that was gone. The fort was meant to protect the Eastern harbor of the city.
