Itinerary

Day 1: From Baltra to Isabela Island

Pass By: Seymour Airport, Aeropuerto Seymour de Baltra, Isla Baltra Baltra, Ecuador
The guide will be waiting at the airport in Baltra to then head to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island. Afterwards, you'll take the public speedboat to Isabela Island around 2pm (2.5-hour ride ). After arriving in Isabela Island, take a brief rest at the hotel and then head to the Flamingo Lagoon, the largest coastal lagoon and one of the main reproductive sites for flamingos in Galápagos.

Day 2: Isabela Island

Pass By: Sierra Negra, Ecuador
Early in the morning, head for a full day tour of Sierra Negra Volcano. This is the world’s second largest volcanic crater. Hike the crater and enjoy the view before continuing to Volcan Chico, a still active volcano which warms the surrounding grounds. (Box lunch will be provided). Spend the afternoon snorkeling in Concha Perla with sea lions, colorful varieties of fish and sea turtles (snorkeling equipment is included: tube, mask, fins).

Day 3: Isabela Island

Pass By: Isabela Island, Galapagos, 010850 Ecuador
Visit Tintores Islet, named after the white-tip sharks known as “tintoreras” which come to rest in its clear waters. Get close to endemic wildlife such as penguins and sea lions. Snorkeling is great in this spot, swim next to colorful fish, sharks and rays. In the afternoon visit Humedales Complex which includes an exhaustive visit to Giant Tortoise Breeding Center, famous “Muro de las Lágrimas”, “Mirador Orchidia” viewpoint and “El Estero de Isabela”.

Day 4: Santa Cruz Island

Pass By: Malecon de Puerto Ayora, Ave Charles Darwin, Puerto Ayora 200350 Ecuador
Early in the morning (6am), take the public speedboat from Isabela to Puerto Ayora, where the guide will be waiting. Check in at the hotel and immediately begin the visit to the Highlands of Santa Cruz Island. Enjoy a visit to see giant tortoises in their natural habitat. Return to Puerto Ayora and in the afternoon head to the Charles Darwin Research Station and observe colorful land iguanas and a large variety of Galápagos Giant tortoises brought from the most important islands in the archipelago.

Day 5: Transfer Out Baltra Airport

Pass By: Seymour Airport, Aeropuerto Seymour de Baltra, Isla Baltra Baltra, Ecuador
Transfer to Baltra Airport. On the way out, stop by “The Twins” (a.k.a. “The Gemelos”). Tour ends upon the arrival to the airport to catch plane to either Quito or Guayaquil.
