About experience

Day 01:
Upon arrival at the airport, a representative from Montez Africa Safaris will be at the airport to pick you up with a signboard which has your name on it and transfer you to Arusha for an overnight stay. The drive from the airport to Arusha is about an hour.

Day 02:
After breakfast at your accommodation, you will be collected by your private safari guide and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This is a relatively small but diverse park, located at Manyara region on the edge of the Great Rift Valley and is one of the famous park in the northern zone with many unique attractions including the lake Manyara, Maji moto (hot natural springs surrounded by palm and fig trees), High diversity of species of birds both local and migratory species, tree climbing lions, High population of Hippopotamus, Large herd of Elephants and Buffalos, also Rift Valley Escarpment forms a unique scenic beauty of the park.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and after a further afternoon game drive, you will head to your Campsite where you can relax and enjoy your dinner.

Day 03:
After breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater is the worldโ€™s largest volcanic caldera. It is almost 20km wide, approximately 600 m deep and is known for its large variety of wildlife. A rich grassy pasture covers the crater floor and provides favorable conditions for grazing animals such as lions, zebras, gazelles, buffalo and warthogs, to name a few. This natural enclosure provides a safe haven for some of Tanzania's endangered black rhinos
The local Maasai people also graze their livestock in the crater. Lake Magadi, a shallow soda lake ringed by extinct volcanoes, is renowned as a habitat for great flocks of pink flamingos.

After your afternoon game drive, you will head back to your accommodation in Karatu, in time for dinner.

Day 04:
After breakfast, your safari guide will collect you from your accommodation and drive you to Tarangire National Park (approximately 3 hours). This natural wonder is named after the Tarangire River that flows through the park and provides the only permanent water for wildlife in the area. The park is famous for its large population of elephants and more than 550 species of birds. These creatures are among the fauna that roam the park's grounds, which are dotted with baobab trees, acacia woodlands, high grasses and seasonal swamps. The Park is also home to buffalo, zebra and wildebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators such as lions and leopards. From the open roof of the vehicle you will be able to absorb the scenic beauty of its landscape and watch the wildlife.
The lunch area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views to the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic).
In the afternoon we will go for another en-route game drive while heading out of the park and back to where it all begun โ€˜Arushaโ€™ you will be dropped off at the airport in time to catch your flight.
