      Visit the National Museum, take in the cityโ€™s wide, tree-lined streets or the bustle of the โ€œMercatoโ€ (market). This colourful market has an array of fascinating goods and curios, providing a great place for exploration and people watching. Throughout the city there are shops that sell typical artisan wares, materials and antiques.

      fly to Bahir dar  to Bahar Dar  ,Continue with a boat tour of Lake Tana, the source of the Blue Nile, and visit ancient island monasteries.

      Drive to gonder visit Gonder castel and debrebrehan sellase church 

      Gondar Visit the remote ruins of Kuskuam, built for Empress Mentewab in the 1700โ€™s. After lunch, tour the Royal Enclosure, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring five castles built by a succession of Ethiopian Kings beginning in the early 17th century.       For the morning we have two choices: Take a morning hike with mules to Mount Asheton, with its 13th century rock-hewn monastery and great views of the town; - OR - Drive to Yemrehanna Kristos, a beautiful church situated in a shallow cave that predates the churches of Lalibela. The drive to Yemrehanna will also give you the opportunity to view the rural countryside and villages of the Ethiopian highlands. Following either option above continue with tour of Lalibelaโ€™s churches in the afternoon. Meal: Breakfast /Lunch /Dinner - Overnight Hotel

      Drive to Arba Minch, one of the main towns in Southern Ethiopia.  On the way, visit a Dorze Village in the Guge Mountains.  The Dorze are known for their tall, beehive-shaped bamboo houses.  If the base becomes infested with termites, the entire house can be lifted and moved to another location.

      Take a boat trip on Lake Chamo and view some of the largest crocodiles in the world sunning on the banks of the lake. Hippopotami and birdlife are also abundant. Drive to Jinka through areas inhabited by various peoples such as the Konso, Tseme, Benna and Ari. Once in Jinka, visit a nearby village of the Ari people.

      Early morning drive to the Mago National Park to visit the Mursi people. The Mursi women are known for the clay plates they insert into their lower lips. Time permitting, visit the Omo Valley Museum in Jinka.

         Jinka - Turmi

      Drive to Turmi in the heartland of the Hamer people. The Hamer are known for their body decorations and the clay and ochre that is used to create their unique hairstyles. Turmi is a very small town and nearby we explore a Hamer village and meet some of the locals.

         Omorate Excursion

      Excursion from Turmi to Omorate. Crossing of the Omo River via a traditional canoe (a recently built bridge now also allows for optional crossing via tour vehicle.). Visit a village of another Omo tribe, the Dasanech, a semi nomadic people who are one of the more numerous (about 30,000 people) tribes in the Omo. Return to Turmi in the afternoon.

      Drive to Konso, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. A highland people, the Konso are known for the ancient and intricate terraces that encircle their well-planned villages. Each Konso village begins on a hill top. As the population grows a new โ€œringโ€ of homes are built around the hilltop. When the final โ€œringโ€ reaches near the bottom of the hill, a new village on a different hill must be built. Look for the โ€œgeneration poleโ€ located in each village. Every 18 years and new pole is added to the others making it easy to calculate the age of the village.

      Drive to Hawassa via the Shenkele game reserve. This Park is the the last pocket of the original Ethiopian Savannah. You will have a chance to spot the endemic Antelope called Swayne`s hartebeast, one the rarest and most elegant animals in all of Africa.  Continue  to Hawassa and relax at a lakeside resort.

      Drive to Addis Ababa stopping at Rift Valley Lakes that are renowned for their endemic birdlife.  Upon arrival in Addis Ababa, optional souvenir shopping if time permits.  Enjoy a Farewell dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant featuring dancers and musicians representing some of the countryโ€™s many ethnic groups.  Transfer to airport for late night departure or additional hotel night booked upon request.

      This day we will meet you at the town of Semera airport then we will drive to  Danakil depression. We start an early drive to Lake Afdera(a salt lake that is located in the heart of Danakil Depressions and in this lake you may a chance of the natural hot springs then later you had swimming around this lake we will be driving to  Dodom (at the base of Erta Ale). Leave after lunch, possibly at 01:30. After you pass several small hamlets scattered here and there in this desert land, Dodom is about 9.5km from Erta Ale and it takes about 1 hrs trekking. Early dinner around 17:00, Camels transport all the camping materials and some food (sleeping materials like light mattresses and mat and water) to the rim of the volcano, where we spend the night watching the dramatic action of the boiling lava. Danakil depression (dallol and Erta Ale) ranks one of the most alluring and physically challenging natural attractions anywhere in Ethiopia. It is a shield volcano with a base diameter of 30 km and a 1km square caldera at its summit. Erta Ale contains the worldโ€™s only permanent lava lake. Erta Ale is 613 meters, with a lava lake, one of only five in the world, at the summit. It is notable for being the longest existing lava lake, present since the early years of the twentieth century.
